We had a memorable stay on Syros at Siroa View and are grateful to our generous and thoughtful host for terrific communication and support before, during, and after the trip!This is a very tastefully and newly remodeled multi-story apartment directly above Ermoupoli, the heart of the island of Syros. Please note that by "above" I mean there are steep stone steps leading from town center up the hill to the apartment, so expect to get a bit of a leg workout going back-and-forth to town for dining and picking up groceries. We really enjoyed this, as the daily climb is rewarded by spectacular views of the harbor. It takes about 15 minutes to get up the hill on foot and does get the heart pumping!The apartment has all of the basic amenities one would need, with the highpoint being the view from the aforementioned porch. We were there in late December and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the off season but this did limit the amount of time spent on the porch, due to cool and windy weather. The porch is where one would generally spend most of their time as it's the only place with a table to sit down at and either work or eat. All appliances are brand-new and fully functional, with split-type HVAC systems in each of the the 2 bedrooms and one on the top floor where the kitchenette is, a couch and the entrance to the wonderful porch. Washer/dryer combo on-site as well. Inductive 2-burner range, minimally equipped kitchenette, with a multi-function microwave.
