I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Sylhet Hotel. The staff were very courteous, always greeting me with a smile and eager to assist with any request. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself felt very modern, with stylish décor, excellent facilities, and a welcoming ambience throughout. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant service was attentive, and the food was delicious. The leisure facilities, including the pool and gym, were spotless and well-equipped, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I was impressed by the high standard of service and attention to detail. I would gladly recommend the Grand Sylhet Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and pleasant stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

It’s a very nice hotel. The food and buffet are a little expensive. If you book a room for 3 people, breakfast is only for two people. They should say this on room booking details. They had a wedding expo going on and staff were too busy attending to this and not their own guests in the hotel. It took us over 30 minutes to get in and park. Had to go and speak to the people at the gate then they finally let us in. No smiles on staffs faces especially in the restaurants and buffet area. If you are one of the best hotels don’t just act like it because of amenities. Behave like it as well. Service is a lot to be desired for.

We absolutely loved the staff at this hotel. The hotel itself is a reasonable place with decent facilities, but what really makes this place great is the staff. From the manager Robin to the security, we felt like they gave all guests VIP treatment. They were fantastic about giving advice and support when required. The front desk staff were particularly supportive. I even joked that I wish I could take the staff for my businesses! Good luck and if we ever come back to this beautiful part of the world again Sylhet will be top choice.

Great hotel, away from the city centre

Friendly, professional staff. Nice swimming pool. Great delicious breakfast. Close to the airport, but a taxi ride of 20 mins from City centre. Not many amenities close by.

Another excellent stay at the Grand Sylhet!

Have stayed at GSHR in several occasions and always received excellent service and proved another great experiment in all respects. Comfort, location, staff friendliness and facilities are excellent and the Hotel makes genuine effort to make guests feel valued even in the smallest way- lovely to have couple of small chocolates nicely presented and left in my room each day😊 Checkin/ checkout efficient and well organised as was the complimentary transport to and from the airport. All much appreciated and I look forward to my next stay!

i had high expectation about this resort so called 5 star one. They room that we received was very small, bathroom was not up to date, and amenities were below standard. Breakfast was not good at all other than the omelet. Customer service at the reception was not very friendly. They need to know how to welcome their guests for the hotel because these customers pay for the service not stay free. .
