Summary:
Our Chelsea Cottage is a unique and amazing house in the best pocket of East Redfern/Surry Hills. Set over 2 levels, our gorgeous family home can sleep up to 11 people across 5 bedrooms and 2 small bathrooms.
You'll have the ideal inner city lifestyle through the flowing alfresco outdoor area that seamlessly connects inside and outside and is also undercover!
There is air-con in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen and full on site laundry for your use.

The Space:
Set in the heart of East Redfern on Bourke St, you are located a stones throw away from Surry Hills.
Bourke st has a cute village feel as it's tree lined street is home to numerous local cafes (Little Evie & St Judes are literally around the corner), a Greek cafe and restaurant (Metaxi Mas & The Twisted Olive), a homewares shop (DEA), a florist/plant shot and many other local businesses. Surry Hills is around the corner and easy walking distance to the light rail stop on Devonshire St. Crown st and all it's fabulous eateries and shopping are under 10 min walk away!

The house itself is a classic Australian cottage that has been tastefully restored and given a new lease of life with period touches throughout. Each bedroom has a distinct character and the living spaces provide a homely feel throughout. There is 1 Queen bed, 4 doubles and a single in the house. The loft bedroom has an original windy staircase to a double dorma windowed room.

The open plan kitchen is nestled beside the living and dining areas and they flow out to the alfresco outdoor area that is amazing for entertaining or just simply relaxing. The garage roller door opens up so you'll be welcomed by all the friendly neighbours and passers by.

The bathrooms are unique, with the main one situated in the middle of the house beneath the staircase and the second one in an indoor/outdoor style bathroom with a rain showerhead. The whole outdoor area is completely covered.

The house is fully equipped for travelling guests through wireless chargers and has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The parking is 2 hours on the nearby streets however there are pockets of 24 hours parks of which I will share the details of through the check in instructions.

Lovely property for larger groups of people. Loft room gets a little stuffy and hot. A couple of light bulbs were out but nothing that really mattered. The owner offered to come replace them but we decided to just leave it.
