This was a really great experience. Great locale with friendly staff. It is right on a winery and they also had a Thai restaurant with really good and ample portions. I recommend trying their restaurant if you stay there. The suite was clean and well appointed. The only downside was the Starlink-based wifi was not great. That did not really hamper our stay. The suite has a lot of character. We loved the ceiling beams that had been preserved from the buildings previous life as a barn. Access to a washer and dryer also turned out to be quite useful. There is a beach in the picture that is hard to find. I think the staff had said they mowed a path to it but were told they could not continue to do it by the local authorities. It is possible there was another path that we did not find. We found it by going to the boat launch across the road and walking along the shore just to the right. The Boughey park beach was a 5 minute drive away and more accessible. Bring water shoes as the beaches in the area seem pretty rocky. The suite was on a winery that had tastings. We also walked 10 minutes up the hill to another winery. About 5 minutes past that there was a cidery. Both had amazing views of the bay. If you are going wine tasting I'd warn that the area is rural and getting an uber is not guaranteed. If you are primarily there to visit Traverse City I'd also recommend driving 10 minutes north to the picturesque town of Sutton Bay.
