Everything was great, except they closed the breakfast bar at 9 AM! It would be better if they closed at 10 AM. I was there at 9:02 AM and the door was locked.

The place is old, but to be fair, it's in Susanville. I have not stayed at Super 8 before, so I cannot compare this Super 8 to other Super 8 motels. But I believe you get what you paid for. The check-in staff was nice. The room did not feel particularly clean, but fortunately the bed sheets were clean. The walls are thin because you can hear others conversation if they are talking in front or near you door.
