I loved that the staff were friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was that the shower was very slippery and dangerous. The resort was nice but it looked a bit run down as though it had fallen on hard times and the wifi didn't work. The kind and friendly and helpful staff more than made up for that though and I would definitely stay again.

I would not recommend

The hotel had rats in the kitchen, there was no places to go for dinner, and the hotel didnt have a restaurant.. the pool was dirty, and the poolbeds were broken.. the staff was very sweet, but couldn’t speak a word English. And last of all they didn’t clean the room or got us new towels in the tree days, that we were there.. I would not recommend this hotel!!

Abgewohntes Hotel unter schlechter Leitung

Gleich bei Ankunft im Hotel,wurde man von dem Personal so gut wie gar nicht beachtet. Englischkenntnisse so gut wie nicht vorhanden.Gebuchtes Zimmer/Gartenblick wurde zum Zimmer mit Parkplatzblick,aber nach Beanstandung Zimmer mit Gartenblick bekommen.Herr vom Check Inn war nett,die Dame unfreundlich.Das Zimmer war ok,aber sauber ist etwas anderes.Das Bett umgab eine ca. 20 cm breite Umrandung mit erheblicher Verletzungsgefahr.Wenig Platz zur Unterbringung der Kleidung.Das Badezimmer eine Katastrophe.Haare in Dusche und WC, Dusche hing in einem offenen Loch in der Decke.Selbst im Kühlschrank waren Haare Das Frühstück zu einem Preis von 75 Baht war erbärmlich.Eine Art Nescafe im Pappbecher und das bei dem Mega Müllproblem in Thailand.Eine Scheibe Toast,Marmelade wurde von Tisch zu Tisch gegeben zwei Scheiben nicht definierbare Wurst,1 Spiegelei und 1 Würstchen.Dazu ein Glas Wasser mit chemischem Orangengeschmack.Eine Dame dort war sehr freundlich,alle anderen stur bis unfreundlich,Frühstück wurde in der Nähe der Rezeption serviert.Pool sehr gut,Whirlpool eine stinkende Jauche,nach Ansprache des Personals wurde gesagt,dass er alle 3 Tage gereinigt wird, aber nach Beschwerde war er abgedeckt.Die Liegen am Pool eine weitere Katastrophe,durchgelegen,zerfleddert mit gebrochenen Eisenrohren am Kopfende am Boden.Genau auf der Sitzfläche eine Eisenstange oder Ähnliches.Desweiteren eine Art Schulklasse vormittagsmit extremen Geschreie,nachmittags Kinderschwimmschule,keine Ruhe möglich

Nice hotel with great amenities

The property is great and has many amenities: a lovely pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a gym room (which might need some renovations). The staff is really nice even if they do not speak a lot English, but they do their best to help you. We enjoyed our stay in overall, but if you are 3 people, take 2 rooms, do not book 1 room for 3 because the third "bed" is a really thin mattress on the floor.

The hotel has a good pool with pleasant riverside

We knocked our lower legs and bled from the wooden corners of bed base which protruded about 40 mm beyond the matress. Towel rack was outside bathroom and no clothes pegs in the bathroom so inconvenient. There was an electric jug in bedroom but no cups or tea or coffee. The cardboard cups at breakfast bar were inadequate.

Die Lage am Fluss ist wunderschön, das Personal sehr bemüht und entgegen kommend, die Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet und der Pool und du Gymnasium vom feinsten. Nur das fruehstueck koennte besser sein.

Don't believe the photos

You can get a decent hotel in So. Thailand for these rates, but Naraya is not one of them, sorry to say. If you're looking for a place to sleep and aren't concerned about the upkeep of the place you will be OK for a night, maybe 2. but if you are looking for a nice place for a get-away, keep looking.

Disgraceful

This resort is a disgrace and Expedia should not include it on their outlets. We checked in and checked out on seeing the room...the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. I did not ask for a refund...just so pleased to get out and find another hotel.

This resort was excellent for locals, but was not set up for tourists as it was a luxury spa not a hotel and did not have meals available. Would be great to stay at if you had your own transport
