Very small basic room was clean. Radiator heat with limited heat so the room was very hot. Slept with a window wide open in December to get a comfortable temperature, which meant hearing people on the street after bars closed. Best description is that this is a college dorm room for adults. Comfortable bed.

I've stayed here several times and I love it. The room was cozy and clean. My one note was the frat boys are loud on the street (one of the nights I stayed was a Friday) but that it's not the hotel's fault and it's not something that bothers me much.

One staff behind desk, seemed like I was a bother. Did not tell me where elevator was. Had a problem finding my room. Room.. door was very thin and small, no tub. A sensitively restored 100 year old hotel with decent comforts and some charm. Fewer amenities than the better chains but far more pleasant. Quiet, dignified, good staff. The Androy probably has best breakfast in town.
