Great home on the water! Exceptionally clean, open concept ranch. Very close to restaurants and attractions in Door County. Beds were comfortable with easy access to bathrooms. Beautiful sunsets and view of the bay. Thank you for letting us use the garage.

We wanted quiet time and Porch Time delivered. Scott's communication were timely and accurate. The location is excellent and the property had accommodation for many more people than the two of us. Hope to return someday with more family members.

Home was so much more than advertised. Check in was a breeze. Comfortable, lots of room inside and out. Every amenity you could need for outside entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking needs and all appliances worked well.Communication with Scott was fantastic and he was so easy to work with. Home is in a beautiful setting and it was very quiet while we were there. We were lucky enough to have great weather and some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen in my life.I'd have to say this was one of my fave rentals ever & the best owner I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Hope to return again.

Beautiful inside and out!

We loved this property! It had an incredible view and was beautifully decorated. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Scott, the owner, was great at communicating with us from the day we booked our trip to the day we left. I can’t recommend this house enough. You won’t be disappointed, to say the least.

Family summer vacation

Nicely stocked, beautiful sunsets, good kitchen, however we thought there was going to be a bedroom with bunk beds and it turned out the bunk beds were inside a closet, in the master bedroom. Also, we couldn’t swim off the property because of all the algae and rocks, but we were able to kayak and play all the yard games.

Even Better In Person

We booked this place last minute for 4 nights during Spring break and it was better than expected. We typically go somewhere warmer rather than colder but let me assure you that this home and its views were still stunning. The home is equipped with everything needed to be comfortable. The layout of the home is perfect. The open concept made family time easy and effortless. The sound system was great for watching movies and listening to music while cooking. My 3 year old loved running outside in the big yard and playing hide and seek indoors. We played board games and spent a lot of time looking out the windows at the water and the birds. The private entry to the lake is so cool, we got to get close enough to collect shells and skip rocks. Every day we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets! This place must be a ton of fun in the summer but if you’re unsure about booking in the cold months, I guarantee you will still very much enjoy it!

Nothing Short of Amazing!

I cannot begin to describe the joy in this property. The house is perfect. Well equipped with supplies in everything from cooking pans, utensils, spices and eating dishes to towels, shampoo, soap, laundry supplies, then kayaks, fully stocked campfire supplies, and the list goes on. Very comfortable and decorated so cute. You will NOT be disappointed and worth every penny. Scott was great to work with and very responsive and accommodating. We will be back. Thanks for the memories. ♥️

Door County Stay

Great yard and we loved being on the water. Beautiful view to wake up to! Nice set up in the house with bedrooms being separated with each their own bathrooms. Great views from every room! The firepit area needs a little work. The shower needed a little better cleaning. And I noticed a lot of dirty dishes- I think the older dishwasher doesn't do a good job. Also, the refrigerator was older and a little dirty. The "host" was excellent to work with and answered all my questions in a timely manner.

Relaxing Fun Fall Get-Away

My family is 3 teens, mom and 90-year-old grandma! Each of us had a wonderful experience! My teens loved kayaking, fishing and bonfires. My mom felt safe everywhere she walked, listening to the water and kids laughing. The kitchen had much more than I ever expected! I cooked big breakfasts, snacks trays and movie night fun! I would just recommend always add an additional day to your visit!

Late Summer getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the home. It was nice sized, comfortable, and a great location. The property had everything we needed. I liked the separation of the bedrooms on each side of the open concept living room. The view of the bay was spectacular!

Midweek getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house has a nice single level layout. Very comfortable and casual. There's also a good size attached garage to park. The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood just right for walking our dog. Outstanding sunsets, and about 10 miles from Sturgeon Bay.

Outstanding property. Exactly as advertised and in photos. Very peaceful and quiet! Loved the western view of the bay. Can’t beat the sunset view. Lovely neighborhood for quiet walks. Dogs loved swimming in the bay! Highly recommend. Scott was an excellent communicator!

Great stay by the bay

At this property, youll want for nothing. All very well appointed, everything you need and an amazing view. Thoughtful to have not only plastic dishes for children but also picnicware to use if needed. Really, everything you need is at the house. The area was quiet for our visit and should be at high season because it is away from the main area. Enjoy!

Nice stay

Nice house on the water. Weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t enjoy the outside amenities (long shot for March) but we all enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the cleanliness. Would go back in warmer weather.
