My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The thermostat in the room was not working, and the room was uncomfortably cold. To make matters worse, the bathroom was full of bugs. This lack of basic comfort, cleanliness, and responsiveness made the stay very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.

Walls are a little thin in the main building but it was really nice and affordable pool was good considering it was freezing outside. More cozy than fancy but had its charm.

We have stayed here several times. We are never disappointed! It is always clean and they offer a delicious breakfast. Lisa the manager is a doll. Also, I can’t remember the name of the new bartender,(sorry), but she was working Saturday night January 3 in the evening and she was awesome.!

We were enjoying our stay until the last day of our stay ,the heater stop working .We called and the staff were fast but they could not make the heater to work .We have to be in a cold room that evening. They did turn on the fireplace for us but its was still 54degress inside the suit .Other then that it was ok ,hope if the place could of resolved it or if they could 9f give us a discount for that night .

Loved this inn! Visited over Christmas break with my family. Stayed in a Ledgemere Suite which was quaint and lovely. Really liked the spacious accommodations, the private deck and being able to park right in the front of our suite and just off load our bags. We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with the snow fall. Grounds are beautiful. Staff was lovely. We especially loved Dominique in the breakfast room. The breakfast was amazing, better than the runny eggs you get in a corporate hotel. It was all made to order. Downtown Stroudsburgh were 5 minutes away so eay to get to many places to eat out. We never had dinner or lunch at the Inn. About 15-20 minutes from Camelback and Kalahari. On our last day we woke up to no head and hot water! Thankfully we were checking out but I can imagine for the guests with ongoing stays, it would be a huge pain.

Excellent place overall, however rooms are not so sound proof due to poor wall insulation I assume, so you can hear guests from neighboring rooms clearly, not a big deal though but something that can be improved perhaps.

The Inn was in a convenient location and had a nice setup for breakfast and the pool, however the actual room we had in one of the cottages was disappointing. The thermostat didn’t work properly both nights of our stay making sleep very uncomfortable and the first night we had the smoke detector in the hallway beeping all night because it was low on batteries. This appears to be a nice venue for weddings/parties and the restaurant was good, however I would not recommend for an overnight stay.

What stood out is that they didn't use toxic chemicals to clean the rooms. I was finally able to breathe and relax. I also like the courtesy and hospitality of the housekeeping staff. It is a beautiful old large property run by an old familycalledperonis the Peyronie's property

Property was easy to find, even on a rainy night. Check in was ok, but staff was pretty vague when answering questions. Room was not great at all; reminded me of a motel 6 from the 80’s. Shower head was grimy, shower curtain was torn and didn’t allow for much space in the shower, hair on the wall, and no bath/shower soap provided. Toilet was so small, suited for little kids only and I’m not a tall or large person. Bed was honestly the worst I’ve slept in at a hotel/motel in years, felt like laying on a box spring. Room was very cold on a cold night when I entered the room, but heater did work and it warmed up in 20 minutes. Floor and chairs didn't look clean and overall I was just uncomfortable. I was in room 38, which was a cabin that others had noted were better than regular rooms in other reviews, but I would not recommend anyone sleeping here if that’s the best they have. The grounds and exterior are very pretty and well kept. The indoor pool area looked amazing and I wish I had time to enjoy that amenity. Breakfast was very good compared to most hotel’s continental offering. Staff didn’t seem very friendly, even at the restaurant, but that seems to be the vibe in this area in general, so probably just typical of the locals. If they update the rooms, it may be worth visiting, but I would never sleep here again the way it is now, sadly as I was very excited about his hotel when I first booked.
