We booked a two-night getaway in Stratford to enjoy the musical Annie at the Festival Theatre and felt so lucky to have discovered this Cottage! The hosts Sue and Al were so warm and welcoming. Their cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable with everything we needed - just like home. We shared many laughs and stories over delicious home-made breakfast, learned about the town of Stratford and its arts scene. We even got invited to a classical chamber music concert thanks to the connection of the host, which became one of the highlights of our trip! The cottage is at a very convenient location. It's 10 mins walk to downtown where you can find ample choices of restaurants and gift shops. It's a quick 5 mins drive to the Festival Theatre, if you are going to watch a show like us. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back! Thank you Sue and Al for your warmth and hospitality!

Al and Sue are the ultimate hosts! Always looking to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and fun. They go out of their way to accommodate you while you are in their care and recommend things to do while you are out and about. The hosts were delightful and the breakfast exceeded our expectations as the listing said a continental breakfast. The home made food was healthy and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to visit again next year.

The property is impeccably clean, tidy and maintained. Everything is also very pretty. The upstairs bathroom is shared between the two rooms and has everything you need. Sue and Al are great hosts. Breakfast was delicious. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Patterson theater and 5 minutes more to the festival theater. The walk is very pleasant through the neighborhood and along the river. We would certainly stay there again and can highly recommend it.

This little B&B was the perfect little stop over while enjoying the theatre and shops of Stratford. The owners go above and beyond and the home and rooms are absolutely charming. Running late after a much longer than expected drive, we were graciously given a ride to our dinner reservation despite the short walk so we could arrive on time. Breakfast was delicious with homemade banana muffins and a beautiful spread of options...not to mention the excellent and stimulating conversation all round :) Very much looking forward to staying again.

A great weekend away

My wife and I took a long weekend to Stratford, and we could not have been more pleased with Sue and Al. The location was wonderful, walking distance to all of the theaters we attended. Sue and Al made a wonderful breakfast each morning and created a welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good, plentiful, and always available. They made sure we had everything we needed, gave us great recommendations, and even allowed us use of their refrigerator.

This is our second time staying at the Cottage on Caledonia because we absolutely love it! The location is perfect - just a short drive to all the theatres and it is located on a beautiful, quiet street. The rooms are clean and comfortable with little touches to make you feel at home. But the best part of the stay are the hosts, Sue and Al. They are so welcoming and a delight to talk with over a delicious breakfast. We will always try to stay here whenever we visit Stratford.

Lovely B&B and hostess, even if the bathroom was shared with the guests in one other room. 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Stratford, restaurants, and most theatres. Fine breakfasts.
