Home base for Lake of Isles Wedding

We’ve always loved stonington and this home was a great home base for us while in town for a wedding at Lake of Isles. The views are absolutely stunning and we actually loved seeing the Amtrak trains pass by throughout the day. An easy walk to the velvet mill and a little longer to downtown stonington, it was great to explore the area on foot.We were all so comfortable in this home, we didn’t want to leave!Natalie and her team do a great job! We had two minor issues that they resolved quickly. What a great place!!!

Relaxing winter weekend

Great stay at a beautiful house! Host was very accommodating and responsive. Lovely location, well appointed house with beautiful views - a great place to just relax and spend time with family. All with easy access to Stonington and Mystic. House is even better than the photos!

Beautiful home and views

Friends and I stayed at Natalie’s gorgeous house in Stonington for girls weekend away..the home is large enough to spread out but so beautifully decorated and cozy at the same time.The kitchen has any amenity you need, and the sunrise over the river is spectacular! Natalie was a super host and the property is close to Mystic and Watch Hill…thank you!

Wedding weekend

The house exceeded our expectations. It was perfectly located for our daughter's wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard and provided us with the space to have our dad with us. Highly recommend. It was an amazing weekend.

House is better than the pictures

We had a wonderful stay at The Sunny Stonington Home. The pictures do not do this home justice. The location was perfect for Mystic, New London, and Narraganset, Rhode Island. The host was super communicative and very accommodating. This is a VRBO listing that is true to it's description in every way that is good.

Amazing House

Mystical Winter Weekend

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed a rainy January weekend poking around the Mystic/Stonington area with this lovely house as our headquarters. The location is convenient to so much, yet the house and property provide a truly private and natural scenic experience. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in the other seasons as well. Great Yuletide Lodging!

Our local family members had to work extended hours over the Christmas break so our geographically diverse family decided we would spend the holiday nearby in Stonington. This beautiful home was the perfect location for my wife and I with our adult children to spend Christmas. The well appointed kitchen was perfect for preparing the big meal. Our host, Natalie, has done a great job providing all of the necessary cooking accessories. Her attention to detail was evident throughout the property. Definitely would like to stay here again!

Lovely home

It surpassed our expectations. The comfort and beauty of the home made for a perfect getaway. I was under the weather so we didn’t explore as much as I’d like ( there’s a lot to do in the area) but we got to enjoy this beautifully decorated home and take in the amazing views! Thank you, Natalie!

Wedding weekend home base

Natalie’s place was our home for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding weekend. I could not have found a better place or host. The rest of our family was in hotels in mystic and everyone walked in the front door and said ‘WOW’. Loved how homey it was decorated and so much space. Natalie was attentive with any questions I had.

Gorgeous location and lovely house with views.

What a location! Beautiful grounds overlooking marshes and cove. Quiet, private, with views at every time of day. Very upscale yet unpretentious and comfy furnishings. All amenities you could need. Easy access to restaurants in Stonington and Mystic. Highly recommend!

Fall Fun

My wife and I (also Pepper the Schnauzer) enjoyed a wonderful October week at this wonderful property. Everything about the place was just as advertised and our host, Natalie, could not have been more helpful in making sure that our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Great base of operations for exploring coastal Connecticut and Rhode Island. Wonderful sunrises over the salt marsh.

Great for pups!

We enjoyed our stay here! We had 5 adults and 4 dogs with plenty of space to spare. It can be challenging to find properties that allow 4 dogs but Natalie was enthusiastic about hosting us and made sure to make us (and our pups) feel at home. She had great communication and suggestions for how to spend our time. As noted in the listing- a train runs often right behind the property but you get used to it. The property is private/secluded but close to town, beautiful, and spacious. There’s a lot to do and explore on the property (hiking, paddle boarding, watching the sunrise) and off in surrounding cities such as Stonington and Mystic. The home was clean, well stocked, and the perfect size. Highly recommend!

Loved the house and location!

This home in Stonington was more beautiful than the pics showed. Very comfortable beds, view from the back patio was very relaxing, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast every morning, and the sunshine coming into that house was spectacular. We all loved it and didn't want to leave...

Idyllic setting for family time

This house was absolutely perfect. The house is charming and the layout is perfectly functional. Views are stunning. The house is incredibly private, but just a short trip to town. Host was gracious and responsive.

Simply Wonderful Stonington Home on Waterfront

We were in Stonington/Mystic for our daughter's wedding and used this fantastic home as the base for our family's stay and activities related to the wedding. The home was spacious, incredibly well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and bedding, and with wonderful views. Oh, and did we say it allows well behaved dogs?! Highly recommended! We will be back!

Great spot to relax

A beautiful spot to get away. Close to everything in Mystic and Stonington. Velvet Mill within walking distance had lots of cute shops, amazing Zest bakery, wood fired pizza and brewery. Get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the marsh. Great family getaway.
