I stayed at the Johannesgatan 12 property. Be warned Stockholm has some hills with stairs so plan route from T-centralen carefully to avoid them if you are walking and have lots of bags! The property and room were great. Very quiet, very clean. It’s several buildings with an interior courtyard so I heard almost no street noise. Staff were very responsive to questions by email. The neighborhood is very residential so it’s pretty quiet, but an easy 20 minute walk to the central train station and the Hötorget metro station is 5 minutes away. I had a single room with a twin bed and balcony. Comfy bed, nice bathroom facilities and everything worked. They were very prompt sending the access code to get into the property and room.

The best place we have ever stayed

Just beautiful! Clean, has everything you need, well laid out and dare I say very Scandinavian. We were beyond happy with our stay. It’s in the centre of the city without being on a busy street, you can walk everywhere within 20 minutes. Recommend to all.

ID-check was really awful, but the apt was ok

Forenom needs to have a scan of your ID documents if you don't have one of the nordic BankId accounts. This process, operated by OnFido, takes a long time and is very error prone. I almost gave up, but was helped by Forenom customer care when they viewed the onfido information and also didn't understand why it was refused. The place itself is well-located, clean and safe. My shower drain didn't work well, but that was the only maintenance downside.

Good apartment, retaliation for not paying extra

Location is really great, one subway stop + 7 min walk from train station. Apartment was recently renovated and even can smell new paint. Plus - it is really very clean. Minuses - nails was left near windows, TV does not work at all, nearly impossible to figure out how to use microwave (they sent me the first page of instruction, but it was nothing there how to set the microwave for more than 1 min). My biggest concern is the service. They promised me an apartment that face inner courtyard. I asked if I can check in or just leave bags one hour early. They wanted addition money for that. When I rejected (and it was only because you never know that your flight arrives in time), they gave me an apartment that faced the street. Not a big deal, the street is generally quiet, but what kind of retaliation is that?

The heater stopped working on the 2nd to last day out of a 5 night trip. Customer service wouldn’t do anything because it was a “Sunday”. The oven also in room B13 did not work. The maid kept harassing us on the check out date since 8am even tho check out wasn’t until 11am. She walked into the apartment without knocking twice once at 8am and again at 10am. Extremely unprofessional.
