The room was clean and comfortable, but I have two comments that explain only three stars. First, check in was unpleasant as I arrived around 1pm from overseas and asked if they could have a room ready before 4pm (I was ready to pay for that). Instead of saying we’ll try but it might be hard, he glared as if affronted and said no, check in is at 4pm and then told me where to store my bag (which was in a room that wasn’t properly locked). Second, the food at the buffet breakfast is lovely, but the tables were filled with dirty dishes and those that weren’t were sticky. The staff at the bar were unwelcoming and seemed rather uninterested in serving. I’ve stayed several time in the past without these issues.

Brilliant hotel. Lovely rooms, cool places to relax, incredible breakfast (best I’ve had), friendly staff (even when we checked in at 2am) views and a cosy fire in the rooftop bar - if this was NYC or LDN you would be paying triple. Can’t fault it.

The hotel has a lovely vibe which made us feel instantly very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed the 'Pairing is Caring' wine tasting session which was excellent and hosted by a very knowledgeable to lovely Ukrainian lady. Overall - excellent place to stay.

Room was large and suited family of 4. Bathroom had shampoo and hair conditioner plus hand cream which is much appreciated in this cold weather. Short walk to train station and check in was easy even at 11pm at night! Luggage storage was a great convenience as well with no charge. I would stay here again if back in Stockholm.
