Unique, precious property with instant access to wonderful Stinson Beach and the local markets. Linda proved to be a warm, engaging, and knowledgeable host. She promptly notified us of a belonging my partner left behind, and will be mailing it to us. We look forward to returning before the end of summer.

Stinson Beach to meet up with family

This cute little cottage is right in the middle of town and near everything you may need- coffee and pastries directly across the street, walking distance from the beach, post office, shops, and other houses people are staying in (we were meeting up with family). It’s quiet and set back, with a gate to close so you have your own little spot away from everything as well. Two rooms with queen beds, lots of windows to open, fruit trees all around and a deck to sit on in the morning when you have coffee. Linda was so responsive and helpful, checking in to make sure the stay went well. We loved our visit to Stinson Beach.

The Best stay

This property was truly lovely… short walk to the beach … across the street from your morning latte & pastry… The host was so lovely & made sure we had all we needed…. Fantastic location steps away from Stinson Beach

Beautiful hidden gem located just steps away from Stinson Beach, great restaurant literally across the the street. Parking is narrow and best suited for cars & smaller SUV. Beautiful cozy coastal spot!

The location can't be beat, the house is very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. Parking, however, is an issue. It was a bit of an ordeal backing out of the narrow driveway, maneuvering around the plants and through the narrow gate. We have a Subaru outback; it may not be an issue for someone with a smaller car. Also be aware that there are quite a number of house rules. With those caveats, I'd recommend.

Outstanding host and location

Terrific communication with the host prior to arrival and during our stay. Extremely helpful with local and regional recommendations. Location in Stinson Beach is hard to beat just steps from local restaurants, shops, beach, and hiking.

Charming Beach Cottage

My family of four had a wonderful stay in Stinson Beach at this delightful cottage. Property is as advertised. I was particularly impressed with how well and thoughtfully stocked the house was. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues during our stay. The property owner was super communicative and helpful. We loved the convenience of having the Parkside dining options so close by and the gorgeous beach just a super short stroll from the property gate. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach cottage

We had a great time in Linda's home. It was clean, check in process was easy, location is amazing and Linda is easy to communicate with and always happy and gave us great tips on where to eat and what activities were available to us in the area. I would highly recommend Linda's home to other vrbo guests

Great spot for families

This was our second stay at Horseneck Cottage. My husband and I took our 2 kids, ages 11 and 9, on their first trip to California. Horseneck Cottage is a perfect spot, both within Stinson Beach and to explore around Marin County and SF. We took lots of day trips and it was always great to come back to the cozy cottage. Linda is an engaged host and offered great suggestions for activities in all types of weather. We will definitely be coming back!

Dog poop

Host was extremely invasive in our space , pearing through the windows, she put dog poop on a paper towel ,placing it on the outside and ONLY table to eat at, came out when my teenage daughters were in the bathtub outside, every time we touched orDid something she was right there. Extremely inappropriate!did something she was right

Great Stay at Stinson!

This cottage has everything you need! The kitchen is well stocked. There are plenty of towels, blankets, etc. The yard is lovely with a deck and hot tub. Communication with the owner was great, and checkin was effortless! There is also It's also in a fantastic location (minutes from the beach and and an easy walk to shopping and places to eat). My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves over the MLK weekend!

Didn’t want to leave

Overall it was fantastic experience! My 3 friends and I stayed to celebrate a big birthday milestone. We cooked a lot at the cottage, and the small kitchen had just about everything we needed (though be sure to check expiration dates of anything in the fridge!). The beds were so comfortable, cozy and warm, and the two heaters were efficient and quiet too, which we really appreciated. My one caveat was the hot tub isn’t actually hot - it only heats to 100 degrees. It was the only down side to an otherwise stellar time!

What a relaxing stay!

We loved the landscaping, location, and hearing the ocean from the open window at night. This place is perfect for 4 or fewer people and has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend at the beach. We used the beach chairs and towels. We made meals. We used the hot tub and did a little laundry. Watching movies was difficult because of Firestick equipment so we played games and read books in the evenings. Parking off the busy street was convenient and the little cafe across the street had many choices. All in all, we can't wait to rent this place again in the future.

Great Location and Cozy!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Linda's cottage! It’s within a very short walking distance to everything you could want for a beach getaway—a restaurant literally outside the front door, a nearby beach entrance, a park for the kids, and a grocery mart just five minutes away. Despite the convenience, the cottage felt secluded in a peaceful, quiet setting. Thanks for a fantastic weekend escape!
