You will be staying on a converted ferry with direct access to the sea – jump into the water from the boat and climb back up via the raft. This is a piece of Danish history transformed into a unique home, where the original wooden details and wheelhouse have been preserved with respect for the ferry's soul.



The historic ferry Strynboen once sailed between Strynø and Rudkøbing and has now been converted into a habitable houseboat. The original wooden doors and authentic details create a special atmosphere that connects you with Denmark's maritime cultural heritage.

A truly lovely ferry—we could tell a lot of heart and soul had gone into it. Fantastic views, and it was really great to be able to jump into the water right from the boat! Both we and the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there were quite a few ants inside. So we bought some ant traps in hopes of solving the problem. Just for your information.
