Why can I only give 5 stars? The location can not be beat! Adjacent to St. John's Pass, on the water. (We enjoyed dinner and a fishing excursion from there.) The host Bob was very helpful, and the master bed was comfortable. The kitchen is a delight, themed with the 1950's style of decor. The sofa is a great place to curl up and watch a large screen TV before bed time. The second bedroom has 2 beds, one soft, one firm. Every room has a TV (living room, and both bedrooms), adjustable ceiling fans with dimmers and independent mini-splits for personalized climate control. There's a cute outdoor shower to clean the sand off your feet after that walk on the shore. The adjacent house has 2 stories with an upstairs deck. It was vacant a couple days we were there, and we were allowed to hang out on their deck to view amazing sunsets. There was an unusual event during our stay - the County was revitalizing the beach for several days - dredging and pumping sand to expand the beach area by quite a bit. Overall, this is an experience not to be missed. We hope to stay again on our next visit to the Treasure Island area.
