Great location. Two areas where we needed front desk staffs help: getting a microwave to our room -we were there 4 nights and never got it. Managed without. 2nd - Front desk staff said they had change for laundry. On Sunday aftn went to ask for change - they didn't have any and didn't know where we could go to get change. She did suggest east side Mario's bar - but it was closed. However laundry facility was great - clean and 2 washers and dryers.

We were later to arrive but our daughter was able to enjoy the water slides for a bit. Beds were comfy and coffee in room was good. However, there’s a bar above the toilet that sticks out too far and impales you trying to get in the shower, and we were placed right across from an obnoxiously squeaky door that kept us up all night. Steer clear of room 235!

I was taken back by this hotel 100%. I never leave negative reviews, but this place was unacceptable. The Holiday Inn hotels have always been a go to for me whenever I am traveling. But from the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. Even the outside windows looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages. I didn't recognize the hotel I booked online, because the pictures Expedia posted were so misleading. This did not look anything like it! The room smelled old and musty, and there were visible stains on the carpet and bed linens. Housekeeping clearly didn't do a thorough job. We even found pubic hairs on the bed linens. I asked to have another room, but it was full for the night. I then asked if the bedding could be changed, and only the sheets were. There were still long hairs stuck on the duvets...I couldn't! We checked out that same hour we checked in (But the receptionist forgot to check us out, and said we spent the night there which we didn't). We booked for 2 nights in total. But it was evident we could not stay here. We ended up booking at the other Holiday Inn, the Holiday Inn Express 6 minutes away. And yes, that is what a Holiday Inn should look like! I'm not sure how this hotel got 10/10 reviews, because I can tell you first hand it is not! I wish I could have taken pictures of the room we had, but I was so disgusted by everything. This place needs serious upgrades and attention. Avoid if you care about basic cleanliness!

Extremely frustrated and disappointed in this hotel. Check-in went smoothly but woken up at 1:40 a.m. by someone opening our door. Security arrived and we were told their system registered our room as unoccupied. The room had been prepaid and had no issues at registration. Very upsetting and extremely inconvenient.
