The staff hospitality and the views are the real gems of this stay. The gardens are well managed and the overall layout of the hotel makes the stay first class.
Wi-Fi is variable in the room, the bed was rock-hard with a massive ridge down the centre where the beds are joined making a good nights sleep unachievable and worsened by the coldness of the room and the tissue-thin duvet.
The breakfast/dining area was beautiful although the food/breakfast was very limited, repetitive and largely uninspiring - I certainly would not have paid £30 per person for a bowl of Rice Crispies, coffee and toast.
The stay could have been improved by the provision of an airport pick-up service as the location of the hotel, whilst only a 15 mins drive from the airport, is quite remote with a very limited bus service that doesn't run out of working hours.
