The location was great - quiet and situated between places we wanted to visit. Host was quick with communication.House was spacious and exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Saved for future visits to the area.

The Castaway Cottage was a very nice place to stay in Butler beach. Nice direct beach access. Communication with the host was very good with any questions we had.One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in at a cottage.Everyone in our group thought it was a great place.We would definitely consider staying here again.

Kitchen had everything we needed. Place was very clean. However, several of the beds lacked firm support and were very squeaky and noisy. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely beach house.

Great location, right on the beach! We loved watching the sunrise every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook and grill at the house. Owners were extremely responsive and took care of any issues we had right away. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Castaway Cottage! The beachfront property was just the perfect location! The patio was spacious, we loved the gate on the walkway, kitchen was well stocked, rooms were as described and clean. Communication with the hosts was timely and thorough. We would happily stay here again!

Do not miss sunrise on the beach! It’s stunning! Lovely views and private access to the beach means you can walk out with your coffee and PJs. We enjoyed seeing the horses on the beach each morning. The large dining table was great!

Love the keyless entry. Kitchen was so well stocked! Had everything you need and more. Air conditioning work great. Had so much fun and made lots of memories.

Family vacation

We had a great family trip celebrating our anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The location was wonderful with 2 toddlers - so easy to get back and forth from the beach. The nice beach in front of house was not crowded even though Memorial Day weekend. House had lots of space and we appreciated the large kitchen table for family meals.

A great location for our family vacation.

We’ve come to St Augustine for the last five years for our family vacation and this has so far been our favorite location. We like to drive on the beach and this location has an entrance/exit close by and only 15 minutes from St. Augustine. Overall, excellent experience and we’ll be coming back!

Weekend get away

We enjoyed the house and location to meet the needs for our daughter to celebrate her birthday with a low- key enjoyable beach weekend with a few friends. The accommodations were a good fit, in addition to the awesome beach access. We enjoyed our stay.
