Property is beautiful. The pool looked great but we had no time to use it. The breakfast was very basic with bagels, bread, a variety of sweeter breads and coffee. The only difficulty we had was getting up the stairs to the second floor with all our bags. The staff was very nice.

The resort was quiet and clean. I was surprised at how good the continental breakfast was, better than most I've seen elsewhere. I recommend the Blue Rock Resort!

We arrived the hotel very early. We had an electric cooler full of food and I requested an early check in. The receptionist on Duty was Jose. He was very accommodating and professional and was definitely the highlight of our experience. We were given room 108. It was on the first floor and the furthest room from the parking lot. Upon entering the room I was astounded that the room was actually below ground. There was a musty odor. It was an end room with a view to the pool. The room was clean, but poorly designed. The first night I could hardly sleep due to the air conditioning in the room next door. It would operate every few minutes cutting out and resume again. This was very annoying. We organized three nights in this horrible place and honestly, if they offered me a free room for life I would decline. Just when I thought it could not be worse we went to the breakfast. I couldn't believe the offerings. Packaged sweet rolls and muffins with an offering of froot loops or raisin brand ( I'm not kidding). In the room there was no coffee maker or microwave. In the room there was a huge crack in the floor under the carpet. We had to be careful not to trip over it. I'm a flight attendant for over 46 years and needless to say I have stayed in thousands of hotel rooms. This was among the worst. I hope that this review will help someone else to avoid this horrific place at all costs

The location and area are perfect and scenic. However the hotel and facilities are really showing their age and in need of some maintenance. The bed in our room had incredibly noisy springs that creaked all night. The floor was filthy and despite being cleaned remained dirty. The A/C was working but the room remained damp and smelly throughout our stay.
