Welcome to Trela Sands! This beautifully remodeled 4 suite resort is located in South Palmetto Point, Eleuthera Bahamas and includes a whole house backup generator. The property is 14 miles south of Governor’s Harbour Airport (GHB).
Trela Sands is 50 feet from the beach on the calm side of the Island and has beautiful views of the sunsets. Start your days watching the sunrise to the east, sunsets over the Pineapple Cays, and star gazing at night. Spend time relaxing on the beach, kayaking, or exploring Eleuthera and all it has to offer.
This listing is for the 1 bedroom, 1 bath studio on the ground floor facing the ocean called "Tito's Corner". For larger groups there are additional suites available. This suite has all the amenities of home, but with a view. This studio has a queen bed that looks right out over the water offering the perfect way to wake up each morning. The fully equipped kitchenette has appliances including a 2-burner range, toaster/air fryer, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator/freezer. There is a shared ocean front screened porch to enjoy outdoor dining and to enjoy the beautiful views. The room has a queen size bed and a full bathroom with walk in shower. There is also an outdoor shower adjacent to the porch. From beach towels to blenders, Trela Sands has it all.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchenette, a washing machine, and a patio. Housekeeping is available on request.

Depends on what you are looking for

This well cared for property is a big house divided into several units. If you don’t mind interacting with other travelers/vacationers….and hearing everything they do, “Trela Sands” is a decent home base for exploring Eleuthera. While clean and well-appointed, we found the 1 bedroom front unit claustrophobic and not private. It’s too bad the second floor of the house isn’t the part with more units, think we may have had a different experience on the top floor. Not for a romantic getaway. Good central location.

Stunning views excellent location

Trelasands was amazing! Exactly as pictured on the website. The room was expertly remodeled, clean and comfortable. The beach was clean, well maintained and the ocean views were beautiful. The room and facility were stocked with many of the things you would need to enjoy the comforts of home as well as a fantastic day at the beach. They definitely achieved a mid- high end resort feel with the daily maintenance of the property and accommodations provided. We would absolutely go back and recommend this property to others.

Beautiful heavenly beachfrontt hideaway

I just had the most relaxing vacation ever at Trela Sands in Eleuthera. The people in Eleuthera are so nice and the beaches are quiet and empty. I can't wait to return to the most peaceful vacation I have ever had. Ricky the property manager was always there when we needed him bit never intruded on our little piece of Heanve. Thank you RIcky!!!
