What a Beautiful Ten Bay Beach Escape

We visited this beach house in mid-May and absolutely loved the location, the beach, and the house itself. The home is very spacious, and with five of us staying there, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is unbeatable, with the most gorgeous views and direct access to an amazing beach. During our stay, we saw stingrays, barracuda, conchs, starfish, sand dollars, and even a baby nurse shark — such an unforgettable experience. We did have a small issue with some AC water leakage during our stay, but the property manager was incredibly prompt and responsive. They sent someone out to fix it right away, even on a Sunday, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. This was the kind of experience you simply can't buy, and we will definitely be back.

Stunning

My sister and I and our two daughters had the most amazing week at Sand Dollar. We couldn't believe ours was the only house on this gorgeous beach that we had all to ourselves some days. We appreciated the kayaks, beach chairs and umbrellas all I good shape! The kitchen is well equipped and spacious as were each of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The only wish would be screens on the sliding doors in the bedrooms. We want to return next year!! Thank you for sharing this amazing home.

House was great and spacious (5 adults, 4 grandkids). Property manager Vanessa was super, helped arrange contacts with local vendors to get everything we needed before our trip. Best sunset view of any place we have stayed in the Caribbean. Best beach for young children and rest of family right off your deck. Farmers market just a few miles away (homemade breads every Tuesday and Friday mornings).

Great spot - house needs a facelift

The location is amazing. The beach is beautiful, calm and quiet. The house is spacious, but needs a facelift. The beds are pretty hard. Beach chairs would be helpful, and generally some basic supplies would be helpful.

Spring Break

This property was better than advertised. The host provided so much information that it was such an easy week. All information on Resturant and grocery stores. Tours and all! The house is very large with a deck you can live on! Venessa was awesome as a host.

Lovely vacation

Sand dollar was a spacious home on the sand and rocks on Ten Bay beach. The house was well suited for our family and grandparents…plenty of room to spread out. And almost every room had a gorgeous view. Excellent laundry facilities and kitchen stocked with all necessary cookware. The home is comfortable. The views, beach, and water are spectacular. Kristen and Vanessa were very helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave me tips that put me at ease when planning excursions.

Paradise

The house is perfect and is just as described. Ten Bay beach is quiet and the ocean is phenomenal, very calm water and crystal clear. We had 6 adults and two four year olds and were very comfortable. The property manager was response and gave us a lot of Information for things to do in the area. We spent most of our time just hanging out and enjoying the water and scenery.We could have used an umbrella for beach use, but other than that we had plenty of beach chairs floats and kayaks to use. Great property!

COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER!!

Ten Bay is the perfect location for families with teens/kiddos . . . amazing, calm, warm Caribbean water with incredible sealife and a beautiful beach with almost no one around! Sand Dollar has, possibly, the best location on Ten Bay, is huge with an enormous deck. Fully stocked with everything you could need, including kitchen essentials for a large crowd, most bedrooms have ensuite baths, snorkel/fishing gear, kayaks, washer/dryer. We've been to Eleuthera a number of times and love it . . . and this may have been our best trip yet!! Highly recommend!!

The Best House on the Best Beach

Sand Dollar is an absolutely awesome property. We’ve stayed in Ten Bay before with a smaller group but needed more space for more family for the holidays. Sand Dollar did not disappoint. Everything about the place is so well thought out. Many times, you feel like you’re in a rental but Sand Dollar felt like a home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious. The views from the kitchen and three of the bedrooms all have incredible views of the beach. The kitchen is large and well appointed. The Wi-Fi is strong (if you need to work for some weird reason). Apple TV in the living room was a plus for the rainy days. The entire family was in awe of this incredible place. We are already planning our next stay.

It’s the only house with “walk out” beach access to 10 bay beach. We loved everything about the house except.... The water situation. The house’s water source is its own cistern. We were constantly worried about running out of water and needing to have more trucked in. The property manager facilitated everything but it was still a concern. She was very responsive to take care of our needs even bringing an emergency water delivery at 11pm! We love the house and island and would definitely book the house again!

The views were amazing and being able to just walk right down to the beach was so convenient. Our only recommendation would be to consider a generator. We had several power outages throughout our stay and it would’ve been nice to have.Otherwise we really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back!

We were a family of 6 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and also to come together for meals, deck fun and games. The snorkeling out around the rocky cliffs is really amazing and team with life (including turtles and rays). Vanessa was so helpful as a caretaker and ensured we had everything we needed. Will be going again!

We stayed in July 2023 and had a wonderful stay. Our group ranged from age 11-73, everyone loved the house and Ten Bay. Vanessa was a huge help to us while we were there, and worked overtime to fix any issues we had! We would stay here again as you can’t compare the location, beach and water. The house is very large, comfortable beds and the beach is pristine. You can snorkel to the left of the property and take the kayaks out on the water. Would love to see screens installed so that you could turn the air off and get a good breeze through the house. We already dream of coming back one day and spending the day in the water!

The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, clean, and have everything you need. The seating areas inside and outside are large enough for big groups to be comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook in and the dishwasher is a great perk, as are the washer/dryer. It's an easy 10 mins to the Midway Cost Cutter, or ~15 mins to Gov Harbour. Vanessa the caretaker was fantastic!
