The heated pool was not working, the swim up bar was not open at all. Breakfast food was always cold and they didn't care. When we walked on the beach, and came back to the top of the boardwalk, the hoses to clean your feet off didn't have any water to them. TVs didn't work, phones in the room didn't work, so we had to walk down to talk to the front desk, to get replacement ones. So, because of all that when the toilet broke, we fixed it our self. We stayed there 2 years ago and had a great time, that's way we went back there, but we will never go back there again. THE HOTEL HAS FALLEN APART AND NEEDS A LOT OF WORK.

The property was old and unkempt. It was advertised that on site pools and bars were open - they were not. Elevators were in disrepair and was, frankly, scary to ride on. Ice machine did not work. I’ll never go back to this property and will advise all friends and relatives to avoid when traveling to South Padre

Receptionist seemed she was bothered if we asked for an update on the room at 4:45! Mind you check in is at 4!!We then asked for a refund because we found TICKS not one but 4 inside our room literally crawling on the table and we were told they couldnt help us. We even offered to show them the pictures and said all they could do was move us to another room, we moved because it was already 8pm when we went back to our room but didn’t even rest do to the fact of thinking my daughter which is allergic to insects could get bitten by one! Very disappointed

The room was fine, but dirty windows. Staff never cleaned our room till the day before we came home, had to hunt them down for clean towels. Very slow elevators, pool chairs were soooo uncomfortable, very slow service at the inside bar, but food was great.
