Loved our 2 night stay. Clean and well equipped and stocked kitchen. The only problem was one of the bathrooms had a musty smell.
Nice clean property, each room has a queen bed. Kitchen has everything you need and the welcome basket was excellent! We used the bbq and fire pit with delight and a lot of great hiking spots are a short drive away.
Loved the place, 6 of us (friends from elementary school) got to stay here for two nights, found it super cozy, and loved the ambiance. Had the best time of our lives, very sad to leave.
Met our needs from grandchildren to seniors. Lots of thought in providing necessities for remote location. Very clean and relaxing environment.

Howdenvale Home
This is my 4th stay at Howdenvale and it's a wonderful house. It's spacious, has a well equipped kitchen, the beds are comfy and the heating system is capable of warming the house on even the coldest winter day.

Funky House
The house has a funky layout but it was great that my friends and I each had our own rooms. They were spread out through the funky layout.

Victoria Day weekend stay
The property is fantastic place with rustic vibes. The location is close to both Tobermory and Sauble Beach. The bedrooms are huge and well equipped with all amenities. Perfect for a family of 6 people.
The only negatives I could find is that bathroom is cramped. There was no welcome goodie bag as mentioned in the description. Also I was informed that kitchen was stacked with Sugar but couldn't find any.

My family had a wonderful time at Howdenvale Haven for the week! The cottage was spacious, clean and close to many different amenities. We loved walking to the beach! Sauble beach, Wiarton and Lions head are only a 20 minute drive. Tobemory was less than an hour. My family was able to explore so many different areas in the Bruce Peninsula! The property was large and perfect for our family who love to be playing games and sitting by the fire. Check in and check out were easy. Communication with property management was quick and easy. Any time I had a question I received a prompt response. The lovely gift basket was a pleasant bonus for sure! We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time.
We went to the Haven for 4 days at the beginning of June. We loved the cottage - it was updated and at the same time had some real cottage feel to it. - It was clean and filled with all the necessities you could think of.
There wasn’t one thing missing in the kitchen that we needed to use to make our meals.
We loved the fact that it had 2 bathrooms - one for my husband and I and one for both adult kids - perfect!
It is a nice property on a nice little street which was very quiet and private.
The little beach was a short walk just down the road. The water of course was still cold, though nice and shallow. The dogs loved it! Great for water frisbee.
Communication with the property manager Nathan was fantastic. His responses to any of my questions were prompt and friendly.
I would absolutely book this place again!
