My sister and I enjoyed our stay. The staff is incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. There are some areas that could use some attention - tissues and wash cloths should be provided, bed comforters should be better laundered, cob webs in the corners of the room, dining room lighting should be dimmed at night... These are very simple things to improve upon that would definitely enhance your guests experience. Overall, this is a very nice affordable hotel with amazing views and LOVE the free shuttle transportation to Sorrento. Grazie for an unforgettable visit!!!

Hotel is very old, but has an old charm to it. Hotel has a nice shuttle service, however, without this, the location is really not ideal for tourists. Pool is freezing cold, views are great.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views

Lovely hotel with beautiful views! Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent with plenty of food choices, bedroom and hotel areas very clean, shuttle service on the hour was very handy if you didn’t want to take the car or walk in to Sorrento. Is there only one thing that I have to mark it down, is not having a way to make a coffee or tea in the bedroom as we arrived from a long day travelling the bar was shutting at 00:00 and restaurant obviously shut at least being able to make a hot drink in the room would have been nice

Was sold on the pool and the view. It was raining during my stay, but that wasn’t the issue. Hotel staff held onto my passport which I thought was unusual. Room is underwhelming, furniture outdated, and hotel is tucked in the middle of nowhere. Staff was really pleasant

The staff and manager were terrific and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding, especially being greeted by Tony, who always puts a smile on people's faces. The best part was the transportation. Thank you for a fantastic stay and for allowing us to move to a bigger room!!!!! I have always recommended people to your hotel! But the older rooms should be updated, at least by changing the old bedcovers and the colors. The upgraded room on the other side of the building felt more lively and cheery since the walls were white and the bedspread was beige. The lower room, which smelled old and had dark and gloomy colors, was small and smelled old. Making a few changes would be a benefit for your hotel. Also, change the flags outside the building.

Great hotel! Would definitely stay here again. I loved being able to have breakfast and dinner with such an amazing view of Sorrento. I also loved how they had a free shuttle available to take you downtown.

La Vue D’Or was the favorite part of my Sorrento trip. This is the second time my family and I stayed here and we have nothing negative to say about it. The staff is excellent, warming, and joyful. From the front desk staff, the waiters and the amazing shuttle driver Pasqual, you are all so special! We will continue to stay here yearly and forever recommend anyone to stay at this paradise in Sorrento! Special thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome and making my birthday so special!

Outstanding Service & beautiful hotel.

This hotel was fantastic, the service is great, everyone had a big smile on every time. Tony at the restaurant is just the happiest person, so cordial and with outstanding customer service. The view is truly GOLDEN we had a great time as a family. The pool was a perfect addition to our trip with the kids.

This property is high priced for what it is. Fantastic views. Far from town- staff is hit or miss. Some seem nice- others are annoyed if you speak to them. Rooms are dated and very basic. No coffee in rooms, none available until after 7. Breakfast was okay. Pool is small- but okay to cool off in. If I return I will opt to stay in town

Hotel staff is excellent!!! Very knowledgeable about the area and they have a ton of information to share. Everything from ferry times, transportation, parking in other areas, etc. Simply ask and they will guide you! There’s a shuttle service provided by hotel to take you into the city and it’s really convenient for dining and excursion options. View from hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are a little outdated and run down, but clean. We were able to overlook that (especially grout in bathroom, etc) because staff was so helpful. Pool is small, dining option is limited but it’s a convenient location if visiting Sorrento, Capri or Positano.
