We loved staying at this stylish and cozy condo in Solitude Village. A very short walk to 2 central lifts, and there is a rental shop and ticket window at the bottom of the building (no lines there even on a Saturday as it's away from the main base for day skiers). No problem at all if you need to activate a ticket each morning. Quick and easy shuttle to the other base at Solitude if you prefer to start your day there. At the Moonbeam base there is also and easy shuttle to Brighton.
The condo is really comfortable. I loved the gas fireplace in the LR and the bedroom was cozy as well. It had everything we needed. My son and his friend loved the cool built-in bunks in their own semi-private nook. It was quiet, and the view was gorgeous.
Bath and kitchen are perfectly well-stocked. There was always room for us in the outdoor hot tub in this building's courtyard, and new friends to meet. We also checked out Club Solitude for arcade games and the outdoor pool (2 hot tubs there as well).
The villiage is totally charming and beautiful. We did not rent a car and were perfectly happy without one, but we did order groceries ahead of time so we could make breakfast and snacks at our condo. Snowshoeing and dinner at the Yurt was a worthwhile splurge one night.
Solitude had varied terrain, low crowds, and impeccable grooming. We got fantastic conditions. Check out Brighton while you are there--we loved all the skiable trees there!
