We stayed in a deluxe room, one with a double bed and the other with three twin futons. The room was very clean and since we stayed 6 nights, we could request housekeeping for 2 days during our stay. Due to COVID-19, many of the perks in the resort were closed like the karaoke rooms, billiard and arcade room. They looked well kept and we would like to try it another time. The waterpark, Waterpia, was a 10 minute walk within the resort, possibly longer with little kids. We had 3 young children, so we drove - 2 min. The restaurant had a limited menu but was delicious. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus but they did stay busy. The breakfast buffet was open only on the weekends due to COVID-19. They checked our temperatures and took our information down in case they needed to contact us. The tables had plastic gloves for guests to use when getting food. Most people wore their masks while getting food. The kid's area was perfect for our little ones. The food was good too. The weekdays were quiet but Friday evening got very busy. Parking was more difficult and you could smell a lot of alcohol from people, but they were not unruly. It was a 15 to 20 minute drive to Sokcho beach and Seorak Mountain. There are not a lot of good places to eat so a car would be highly recommended to get around. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A microwave would be nice but the kitchen area is quite small. A nice place to stay while visiting Sokcho
