The location is great with easy MRT access, making it very convenient. The room was on the smaller side and the bathroom/bathtub looked a bit worn, but overall the space was manageable for two people. There was construction happening right outside our room, but the noise was surprisingly minimal. It’s a good hotel overall. We didn’t see much of the staff, but when we did, they were helpful and pleasant.

This was a great place to base myself whilst in Singapore, it's a short walk from Rochor MTR station. which made it ideal to get out and about to explore The general decor was fresh, the bed was comfy and clean, their was a modern TV with a good selection of channels. Kettle and tea making facilities were adequate but the drinking the water from the tap did have a slight metallic flavor. But look a bit closer and you start to see the place is looking tired. The exterior didn't seem as well looked after as the same building opposite, The furniture in my room was also scuffed and marked, the laminate flooring had suffered from some shrinkage so their were small gaps between boards, The bathroom needed updating, there was a stain in the tub and the sink was not clean when I arrived. The staff were friendly and efficient so no real problems there, With a bit of love this place could be 4 star as it says on the site, but I have to admit it was less Premium more 3 star Premier Inn

Had stayed there 8 days. The room they give me initially was small, had marks in mirror, oldish looking. Requested them to change the room, next day moved to another room, city view, much spacious, clean and likeable. Since then, stay was excellent.

The facade and internal decor of the hotel and rooms is classy and has character. Very nice looking hotel! Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is fairly close to a MRT station - less than 10 minute walk.

I am understand the supposed 200 sqft+ room in Singapore becoming tiny, but having a pillar go right through the middle of the room, occupying a third of the available space and creating a risk of a 'nasty bump' in the middle of the night is plain unacceptable. I had a very pleasant stay at Village Hotel Albert Court. The location is excellent, just a short walk to MRT stations and right next to the Little India district. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the hotel's heritage architecture added a unique charm. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A great value for a convenient and comfortable stay in Singapore. Would happily return.

The hotel itself was fine - the room was basic, but clean and the staff were very nice. However, we found it extremely difficult to sleep as a bar in the square was doing exceptionally loud karaoke on a Monday night until 1AM. The room was not remotely sound proofed, as proven by being able to hear the bar most of the night as well as our neighbours in their rooms and in the hall.
