Pretty rough area in town. Didn't feel safe. Saw people walking around the area we did not feel comfortable with. no AC in the small work out room. No cold water, every hotel everyone would expect those two things to work out.

Everything seemed pretty good until we got ready for an afternoon nap. The bed had blood stains on the fitted sheet and once the manger came to change the linens I looked under the mattress cover and found even bigger blood stains on the matress. She gave me another room and it hadn’t been properly mopped nor was the shower gel be refilled. Thankfully I brought my own.

TERRIBLE PROPERTY!

This was the worst Wyndham property I have ever stayed in. Severely dated, bathroom was not clean, terrible stains in the cracked caulking around tub, stains in toilet, hairdryer hanging to the floor because the base was broken, filthy carpet in room and halls, chipped furniture and toilet/tile in bathroom. Lobby was good and staff good but rooms are not. Overpriced for what it was.

The properly was clean and easily accessible from the highway. The problem we had with the hotel was the hotel was pretty rundown inside the kitchen area and the furniture was dirty. When we checked in, we had already done a pre-check in before we got there and it still took us about 10 minutes to get checked down when we got there. We were on the second floor and it was so noisy up until about two in the morning that it was hard to sleep will not stay there again.

Door left open and unlocked by housekeeping

I stayed four nights. The front desk staff was polite. However, housekeeping was horrible. After the first night, I had the do not disturb tag on the door. After the second night, I took it off only to come back to my room and the door open. The dirty towels had been removed. New towels were not left. The trash was not emptied, and the bed was not made. This was after 6 PM so they weren’t in the middle of cleaning. I called the front desk. They said they would bring up new towels, but I explained I was much more concerned about the fact my door was left unlocked and open. They said they would check the video. That was the last this was addressed. I did not get a message from management at all. After the third night, I put the sign up again. After the fourth night, I need a towels so I took the sign down. Got back to the room and while they closed and locked at the door this time, they once again only removed dirty towels. Did not leave clean towels, nor empty the trash, nor make the bed. The hotel overall was old and dingy. I was completely willing to overlook that as I should’ve read the reviews and known better. The price compared to surrounding hotels should have raised red flags, even though the hotel had an 8.0 out of 10 rating. I felt that was my fault for not looking a little deeper and would not have left a bad review because of that. However, coming back to an open door is 100% unacceptable. This being a business trip and nonrefundable I had no choice but to stay.

It is an older hotel requiring refurbishing and remodel. Water marks on wall from previous leak, holes in curtains, stains on chairs in breakfast area and cofffe maker at breakfast not working. Employees nice and helpful. Could have stayed at another location cheaper. Not what we are used to at Wyndom.

We stayed here while visiting family in Shreveport. Was somewhat disappointed. The hotel is old and needs lots of updates. Carpet was old, broken places in walls, breakfast chairs are dirty and stained, etc. But, the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would recommend staying down toward the boardwalk more as the area was also somewhat sketchy.

Hotel is in need of a renovation.

We were running late because our granddaughters dance recital in Nacogdoches, TX ran late so we did not arrive until 1015pm. Check in was okay. We were given a room typically reserved for handicapped individuals, which made us think that it was probably the last room that they had. The room was not the cleanest. The doorknob had some something sticky on it, there was a broken lamp shoved into a corner and the sink in the bathroom drained really slow. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty and needed to be replaced. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. There was not any place to get water, other than the faucet in the room or buying a bottle of water. Most hotels we have stayed at had either a bottle refill station or some sort of water located in the lobby. This one did not. I would like to give a big kudos to the staff though. I left my iPad in the room and didn’t realize it until we were 30 miles on the way home. The staff texted me to let me know they had. We turned around and went back to retrieve it. The hotel is in need of a major renovation.
