Wine Region Country Home
Our home is located just outside of Wilsonville city limits, 5 minutes from freeway access. Wine country and equestrian centers are minutes away or you can be in downtown Portland in roughly 20 minutes.
We have 3 bedrooms and a bonus room. Main bedroom has a King size bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd has a full bed. The bonus room has a very comfortable couch or blow up queen sized mattress.
The home has a large open kitchen/family room that opens up to a large 2 tiered deck that has a wooded view. Plenty of seating and BBQ's. We have a pellet smoker, ceramic egg that burns charcoal and a charcoal pizza oven. The lower tier has a hot tub that fits 8 people.
The home is equipped with smart TV's in every bedroom, bonus room and living room. The living room has recently been upgraded with a 65" OLED television. The bonus room has a new 85" OLED TV. This technology provides the best picture available. The home has speakers wired into almost every room that is controlled by the main stereo system in the family room. Subwoofer included. It sounds amazing at low volumes and at high volumes it will rattle the windows. Don't worry about neighbors, they won't hear a thing.
Even though the house is close to town it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Every window looks out to a beautiful old growth forest which is a nature preserve. It is situated on a 1 acre lot in an area where other homes are required to be on 5 acre parcels. There is a lot of space and trees for privacy. There is a large side yard that is roughly 100 ft long and 30 ft wide.
The kitchen is fully equipped. We live in this home about 6 months out of the year so you will find the pantry, spice cabinet and cupboards fully stocked with almost anything you need to cook a gourmet meal.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

This is a lovely property, which makes you feel right at home from the first moment you walk through the front door. All of the rooms are beautiful and comfortably appointed, and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. The sheets are a silky, high thread count and the master bed is quite comfortable. The fire pit outside was a wonderful way to end each day, make sure to sit out there if you stay here! We stayed a week in this lovely home, and the days flew by! We would love to return when we are in the area next.

Thanksgiving on Ladd Hill
We stayed at this excellent location for our family Thanksgiving 2024. The owners were so attentive and gracious as they offered and made sure that we would have a great time. It is a fully loaded family home situated right between Wilsonville and some of the most beautiful wine country. Winetasting was only 10 min away. Thank you for your generosity. You made our holiday quite special. We will be back!

Sherwood Forest Paradise
RUN-don’t walk to this wonderful property! Seriously, a beautiful home set in the wine country; surrounded by trees so that you feel like you are in a remote forest, yet just minutes away from shops and just about 25 minutes from Portland. The owners were responsive and actual humans who own the house! They insisted that we use it like our own home! The kitchen has enough accessories to stock 3, including 2 additional ice makers. A clean, comfortable retreat that lets you pamper yourself and your family with enough room to have some personal quiet time if you like. Relax on the deck with a glass of wine or jump in the hot tub! It’s all there. Sean and Jenice are the quintessential hosts-even though they are not there. Heck, Sean even has a library of short videos online covering how to use the remotes, the grills-yes, two types of grills-and the hot tub, and more! Ten days flew by as we moved our daughter to Portland for this trip. I have a feeling that we will be back and this property will be first on our list!!

Fantastic House
We were a family group in town for a college graduation. The house was perfect for us. Conveniently located in the Wilsonville/Sherwood area, we were right in between Portland and the Willamette Valley, where we could enjoy both the city and the unique experience of wine tasting some of the best Pinot Noir in the USA. The house was not just clean and spacious, but also well appointed. We were welcomed with a vase of roses!! Jenice was a gracious and effective communicator. We found nothing wanting at all. The side yard was perfect for the pups to play in, and even the neighbors were friendly. All in all a fantastic experience!

Lovely home
The house was easy to get to and well stocked. Plenty of space for family as we gathered after my dads passing. The only complaint I have is there was some kind of bug that we had to kill inside the home. They need to have the house treated outside because they were on the screens.

Access to Portland and the wine country
The location was great for quick trips to Portland to to several wineries. Numerous hikes and even the coast was not far away. Being pet friendly was key for my son who lives in Bend. The availability and friendliness of the owners really won my heart. They were quickly available and answered all our questions. They were wonderful

A great stay
This home in the trees is well-equipped and very comfortable. The living and entertaining spaces are generously sized... we didn't end up using the formal living or dining room areas, preferring to gather in the large kitchen and family room. The house feels as if you're out in the country, and yet it's only a short drive into town to shops and stores. Jenice and Sean were easy to communicate with prior to our stay and were very responsive during our stay when we had questions or requests. Would stay again!

Piece of heaven
This property is awesome!! The deck and hot tub were great for relaxing after busy days. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Nature walking path not far away. Saw two deer one morning. Close enough for sightseeing attractions but you feel far away from everything. The inside of the house also awesome!! Wish we had an extra day just to relax at the house! Highly recommend this VRBO

Everything you need!
The first thing you’ll notice is the privacy. The property borders a large forest with no view of any other houses. I really think that should be noted as so many rentals are right in the middle of a neighborhood. The inside was very clean, and the theater room was a big hit with everyone. We’ll definitely rent again.

Well equipped comfortable house
This is a spacious, well equipped comfortable home. Our group was 3 adults, sometimes 4. There was plenty of space for everyone. The owners are attentive and responsive. The location is just minutes outside of Wilsonville and 20-25 minutes into Portland. We also explored McMinnville, Aurora and other towns nearby. While it is in the country, it sits at an intersection of 3 roads that can be busy at times. Only other complaint is weak/slow WiFi that makes wfh difficult. Owners were responsive in trying to address while we were there.

Comfortable getaway
This beautiful home is great for families and for relaxation. We enjoy cooking meals in the large kitchen, spending time in the hot tub and having both sunny and shady spots in the yard. The nature preserve is right next door and downtown Wilsonville is just minutes away. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind.
