I needed a little getaway of peace and quiet to finish writing a book, and this cabin had it! Definitely fits the bill on cozy and peaceful, and although it feels remote, it's not far at all from shopping and food. The kitchen came fully stocked with dishes, pots, utensils, and silverware, along with a coffee pot, toaster and microwave. The sink had a strainer next to it with dish soap and a scrub brush. The fridge and freezer kept items nice and cold, and the stove worked great. Space was a little tight in the small kitchen with a table and 4 chairs in there, but for one person, it's doable.A decent living room with a fold-out couch and dual recliner sofa, plus the 2 bedrooms with Queen beds allows for up to 6 people to sleep.Another small cabin sat opposite down the same private driveway, and the home is tucked into a collection of properties off a winding mountain road.Seating was comfortable enough and not what I would consider luxurious, and the 2 beds were a bit too firm for my needs. If you like firm with a hint of softness, though, you'd love them. The only issue was in the middle of the night, the center supports on one of the beds completely snapped and splintered. Ended up on the recliner. I reached out to the host, and she was extremely understanding and apologetic, even inviting me back to make it up to me.All in all, the place helped me get my work done.
