We had an amazing time. The cabin was great. The beds were comfortable. Denis was very responsive. We rented a boat for several days and docked it at the cabin. We made so many memories. The kids roasted hot dogs and s’mores. They caught fireflies at night. Our niece and nephew each caught a fish off the dock. The stairs to the dock could be a bit much for some, but we managed them well. The mornings were amazing. I miss that sunrise. It was very peaceful. It felt like a treehouse when you sat on the sofa overlooking the lake and the trees. The whole property felt very private. The screened porch was great at night to sit around and hang out. It was an amazing place for a family vacation.

This lake was wonderful for boating. Dock access was easy to keep boat in water everyday during our stay. Steep walk to the dock, but otherwise was good!

Beautiful home away from home for the week

We had a great time ! Lake view was breathtaking. Home had everything we needed for a perfect stay! Loved the screened in porch , we spent a lot of time on there . The house is not far from all of the family fun in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

We stayed 5 nights with our immediate family. The house was clean and had a good floor plan. The house was comfortable for family of 6 with a baby. Amazing view of Douglas Lake in a cove. The large deck off the kitchen and living room created additional living space. There was covered parking. The house had games and toys for kids. It is on a quiet street. We enjoyed the fire pit. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Week

We had an amazing peaceful week on the lake. The views from the house were spectacular. The house was perfect for our family of four and our dog. We took full advantage of the screened in porch and spent a good amount of our time out there. From a pool table, foosball table, and a PAC-Man arcade game, there was plenty of things to do at the house. The lake levels were low so we couldn’t really use the dock, but we still had an amazing week. Denis was great to work with and we can see us staying here again.

New Year with a great view

Our family of 4 stayed in this property to ring in the new year and we had a great time! The house was impressively clean and perfect for our family. The view of the lake was a great way to start every day and we enjoyed driving to the surrounding attractions. Denis had excellent communication throughout the process. I would recommend this property and would be happy to rent here again.

Beautiful Cabin, Quiet Stay!

We loved our stay in this cabin! It was in a beautiful location and had everything we needed for a great stay. We went with friends and their kids, the games in the cabin were a huge hit! Also loved the pool table and screened in porch!

Family Vacation

very nice accommodations in secluded area. The house was very spacious for our party of five. Took advantage of as many amenities as we could. Played pool, kayaked, used the fire pit, spent a lot of time on the screened in back porch. There were a few things that could have been better. It was no storage for food. Some of the available items didn’t work such as the foosball table and the cornhole set was broken. But overall, we had a very nice stay.

Family Fun Weekend

We had a great time at this property. The owners were fantastic to work with and very attentive to messages/questions. The home was very clean. Our only "complaint" was that the hot tub would be much better accessed from the top deck level, but this would not deter us from returning. Thanks so much for a great time!

Wonderful place the house was perfect for our group of 6, great value and views. My only feed back is that the kitchen is not well equipped (no spatula, broken equipment like crockpot, measuring cups utensils, all the pots and pans have scrapped Teflon linings in them and are worn out) and most of the dishes were dirty with stuck on food when we took them out of the cabinets. We could see in the guest feedback book this had been reported by several other guest for more than 6 months. Alos the master bath show handle doesn't work correctly. I am sure the host will work on these things in the future as he is a very nice guy and super responsive.

I miss the view!!!

Exceeded our expectations! It was wonderful waking up to the view of the lake and sitting out on the screened in porch drinking coffee every morning. The drive to the cabin was nice! Not too curvy. The privacy was a big bonus for us as well. We did not want to stay in a line of cabins right next to one another. The cabin was clean and plenty of room for everyone!

Great stay

We enjoyed the cabin and the spectacular view. The space was a good size for us (6) and the description was accurate. The screened in outdoor space is a great feature we used a lot. Unfortunately for us, the TVA had drained the lake significantly and were not able to take advantage of the dock. Our host, Denis, warned us before we got there so we were prepared. Denis is incredibly responsive and helpful, you could not ask for a better host. We all enjoyed our stay and the girls were hoping to stay longer!

Beautiful views

Enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning with views of the water and mountains. Very peaceful location, always a drive to get to town but easy to get to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We came for a girls trip and went zip lining, hiking, toured cavern, visited museums, Hatfield & McCoy dinner, wine tasting, and petting zoo. So much to do, it was nice to come back to the relaxation of the house.

Our lake get away

We always like to take a Lake vacation in June over Fathers Day and My birthday. This year we found this beautiful cabin on Lake Douglas. Dennis is the owner and was so helpful and his communication was the best. Their home is beautiful and spacious. You can’t beat the screened in porch and the views of the lake are beautiful from the porch and living room. We enjoyed being in the lake, my daughter lived using the kayak and we enjoyed relaxing on the water. There are a lot of stairs to the lake, but that is expected and you just take you time climbing back up to a relaxing rest in the hot tub. Definitely a nice place to stay and we thank him for sharing his home with us The Splawn Family visiting from Ohio

Loved the place and location. Comfortably away from all of the attractions but close enough to do everything your heart desires. Quiet and peaceful. We felt very safe. Beautiful views!

Great location for a get away

The location is great to get away. The drive to the house was scary towing a boat. We wish we’d had known the lake water level at the time of our trip. It was too low to dock or boat at the house. The kids loved the house and played “every” game available. I loved the fire pit and the seclusion. I felt everything was clean but the beds were a little rough. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the house features. Be aware that the drive to Gatlinburg is a windy one and takes about 40+ minutes. The house had everything you need to enjoy family time together.
