Ok so the actual place is nice. Clean. Decent size. Good spread of amenities. It has a couple of deferred maintenance issues - loose kitchen faucet, missing railings, so if you have a small child don't let them on the deck unsupervised and a rodent issue. Nothing that's worse than any rural rental place, and it's cleaner than most. Hot tub works and was clean. The real problem is getting there. The roads up are steep. And narrow. Even by TN standards. We have a new AWD SUV and I had to force it into AWD so it didn't slip in a couple of places. This is in the spring, not the winter btw - the slope not the weather is the issue. The driveway is a whole other issue. The lead in from the road is insanely steep - to the point that you have to go to the top of the hill on entry or egress, find a driveway to turn around in and enter from the downhill side.Your problems don't end there though. There's a giant pothole right at the end of the driveway that makes your entry angle steeper. Our SUV just crawled in. The intention was for another party with a sedan to join us. There was absolutely no way that vehicle was making it there so we had to pay for parking in Pidgeon Forge and act as a taxi. We watched the rental next door [the day after we arrived - downhill side] ruin the back bumper of their minivan trying to turn around when they overshot at 10pm and misjudged the entry. So just be aware that you need enough ground clearance to get in or you are going to have issues.
