It supposed to be 4 stars hotel. No.. no lobby, no room services, no restaurant. NO SPA as they have in description! They have hottab at additional cost. Totally misadverisement! I would never stay in this hotel if i would knew all all of it.

The front desk clerk forgot to charge my stay so they called my room twice at 12:30 am then 1:30 am , demanding me to cone down or I had to get out of the property. The next day I plugged the coffee pot in outlet and it blew the circuit with sparks and the whole electric out . Engineer came and fixed it later. They advised me not to use the outlet.

What I like about this property is its close proximity to myeongdong shopping center, namsan tower, and subway. The facilities is excellent. The restaurant at 22nd floor has a great view and food to offer. I will definitely go back bext time I'm in Seoul.

Clean, Great Location

Great location. Literally 2 blocks if that from the meong dong street market. If all you need is a clean place to sleep I would recommend. If you are the type of person that needs all the bells and whistles I would look else where.

Generally this is a positive review, but first the major con, noise, you will need earplugs to stay here My room was on the 19th floor (the highest), and was facing the street. The glass is single pane and: - Seoul drivers blow their horn constantly - Some vehicles have especially loud exhausts fitted - At midnight, there is a someone manually directing traffic using a loud whistle - This is a major road, so the traffic doesn't calm until about 2am - Other odd noises I did ask at the desk about the noise but was told that as I was on the 19th floor the noise would probably be worse on other levels. I suspect the main issue is because of the single pane glass, the window is the same size as the room. NB I also had a hotel in Busan which I noticed had the same kind of glass so I suspect that's a Korea thing Now the list Pros: - location. You couldn't ask for better, it's a 5 min walk to the tube, and the tourist part of Myeongdong is pretty much right there - I had issue getting a taxi on my last day but the staff were very helpful and sorted me out straight away - The rooftop is nice (and is open) - Breakfast was great - Shower was fantastic, full size and powerful Cons - It has an ice machine in name only. There's just one, and on the ground floor, and dispenses something like 15 cubes every 30 or so minutes (there's a sign on it to that affect). It didn't work once in the time I was there - Gym. Tiny - Noise! NB none from inside the hotel itself

Overall had a nice stay. Having the toilet separate from the shower was really nice. Location wise: the hotel is near the end of myeong-dong street so you do need to walk a bit to get to it. The room was a bit small, so just a heads up. There was also construction outside, but the hotel gives you earplugs if the noise bothers you, which I thought was a nice gesture :)

It is a little over five minutes from the last stop of airport bus 6015, which departs from ICN. 24-hour Emart is right next door and also in the central shopping district of Myoungdong. The hotel room was a small business type, but it seemed like a brand new carpet and bathroom. It was a good shower, the AC was working great, and there was fast front desk service in & out.

Awful experience, had booked for 10 nights but left after the first. Room photos are totally inaccurate, our room had a window totally blocked by a wall a foot away that seemed to house an enormous air con unit, the humm was so loud, we both woke up with splitting headaches. The air con in the room would not adjust the temp so we were sweating all night and the bathroom was impossibly small, been in korea for a month and it was the worst so far. To add to all this the main reason we had booked the hotel was because of the rooftop bar as it was my husbands birthday but when we arrived found it was closed for renovation (no mention of this or any of the other issues on expedia where we booked.) Thankfully left after the first night and have just checked into the Moxy Insadong and it is incredible and only slightly more expensive! And has a beautiful and open rooftop bar to save the day!
