I liked how the hotel was in a quiet area despite being near the busy streets of gangnam. The cleaning staff, female receptionists were very nice and professional. The male receptionists on other hand were not.
It has been around 30 years since the last time my father and I have been to Korea. We were not familiar with many things. I was very disappointed when I expected great customer service and respect from Korean establishments.
At the end of our stay, they did not give us a tax refund receipt with the tax barcode. They said if we showed the receipt to the tax refund desk, they would refund us. The airport did not allow us to get a refund with the receipt given by the hotel. This is unacceptable. They have already received the payment tax from the government. We are furious. Why would they give us a receipt that does not allow us to get a tax refund at the airport when so many other foreigners have come and gone through this hotel?
