Short break in Jeju

Very basic amenities. Small bath towel provided, with a huge bathroom with no shower cubicle. Entire bathroom will be wet after a shower, without dry space. Bed is basic and mattress is quite old and can feel the spring.

The rooms are clean. They don't clean the room unless you ask. The bathroom is Korean style, so nothing is separated but it is spacious enough that you can shower without everything else getting wet. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. There is a fridge and TV in the room, as well as an extra chair and a rack to hang clothes. There is a cafe in the lobby. There are two convenience stores nearby - one on the property and one within 5 mins walk. Other than that, restaurants are kinda sparse, especially in the off peak season when the few that are around may be closed. This hotel is better for families/ groups and a car is definitely needed.

Good hotel for comfort stay, 7-eleven is downstairs just Incase you need something to munch late night and etc. The wall are a little thin soundproof not that strong, you can’t hear voices but if someone is stomping or moving things around you can hear it clearly.

Isolated Hotel

The hotel is very isolated and is not suitable for someone without a car. The room is of a good size but most of it is empty floor space with no comfortable seats. This is very inconvenient and means that you have to sit on the bed. The bathroom is a "wet room" with no separation of the shower. This means that water goes all over the floor. The towels are very, very small . . . like hand towels! The breakfast is not suitable for western tastes. The quality of the limited cereal is poor as is the bread. The remainder is primarily suited to a Korean customer with rice, soup, etc.

This hotel caters for Korean tourists. The receptionist only spoke to my Korean co-traveller despite the booking being in my (foreign) name and me approaching him in Korean. Room service is only on request and consists mostly of folding wet towels into one pile (not so great if one traveller has skin problems). Bathroom was not cleaned. Beyond soap and wall mounted (but not labelled shampoo and conditioner) no products and small towels only. Nice balcony with views across to Udo (if you book ocean view rooms) but no chairs to sit outside or in the room. The pool is a kiddie pool only. If you do not have your own car, it is about 15 minutes walk to the bus stop, about 2 hours from the airport. No bike hire etc. at the resort. Also very limited restaurant options in the nearer area.Breakfast is buffet option with standard Korean warm food and coffee from sticks.

Room was very traditional Korean. No large towels to use after a shower, the shower was the bathroom with the toilet and small sink in there. The air did not work well, we were unable to get the room down to a comfortable temperature. Bed was very firm. Breakfast was decent.
