Disappointing

So, we chose this because it had really great reviews from about 4 people, but I’m not sure why! It is called a ‘resort’ but it’s not. It’s a dated Korean pension that had a tiny pool by a pizza restaurant. We arrived and the female owner was just really rude to us for most of our stay, so we just felt like we were constantly tiptoeing around and trying to avoid her. I don’t think she liked westerners. The rooms were quite run down and not that clean and we didn’t even have any drinking glasses in the room. The curtains were super thin and overlook the car park which has lights so it’s quite light in the rooms at nighttime. We paid quite a lot for this pension but we stayed at another hotel in jeju for the previous week which was cheaper and so much better. I’d definitely not recommend staying here -there are much better alternatives!

Nice, small quiet hotel overlooking the bay. Short hiking trail nearby. Need a car, a ways from town.

I will come back to Bay Jeju Resort - more of a hotel than a resort, the view of the ocean, the infinity pool, and the wonderful staff, super comfortable room with several channels in English - one for children, some news and national geographic type channels, and action film channel, made me feel at home. Great location - it seems a little far from everything, but only a $5 taxi ride away from all of the restaurants, buses to other parts of the island - but really the neighborhood of this hotel is my favorite part of the island, very quiet, beautiful landscapes. The espresso machine downstairs was a big plus.

추천합니다!

10인실 이용했습니다 넓고 넉넉해서 사용하기 정말 좋았습니다......만.. 날이 습해서 인지 곰팡이와 냄새가 좀 있더라구요 에어컨 틀어서 괜찮았지만 신경쓰이는건 어쩔수 없군요. 이거 제외하고 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 수영장도 충분히 놀정도였구요 추천합니다!
