My two favorite things about my four night stay here was first the amaaaaazing double shower it had great pressure and temperature ( I’m picky about pressure). Second I loved the view! It was over looking a river thing with sooo many huge green beautiful trees. We loved walking out on our balcony and seeing it each morning. We even spent our last evening there at the hotels cafe drinking out on their patio soaking in the scenery. If I had to find one thing to change it would be the super firm bed, it took some getting used to. But it was worth it because I found out by friends that stayed near by that that didn’t have control of their A/C and we did so that was worth us being at a comfortable temp at night.

The front desk clerk said he didn’t even know about my reservation. He said I was lucky to have the last one that’s left. What the heck... the hotel itself was old and tainted. No chairs to sit in and to relax even to have a cup of coffee... if you are looking for a cheap place to crash without any expectation, this is it.

very spacious and clean!

We stayed in a family room with 2 king beds. very spacious and clean. amazingly there are 2 shower taps for that two persons such as mom and daughter can take a shower at the same time even though it is narrow space. strange thing is there is no door or curtain for washing area which faces to the main room so when you come out after shower you have to dry your body or dress up in front of the bed. it can be embarrassing you are naked! Also we booked the room which included breakfast. But the hotel host said they don't serve breakfast anymore because of Corona19(kind of New flu) without any notice in advance!! I felt waste my money for breakfast. There are many hotel rooms with cheaper price without breakfast. The host said 'breakfast is free of charge service so we don't need to pay any back for the breakfast' I can't agree with this. what do you think??? you d better check this before you use this hotel^^

New hotel with limited housekeeping

Conveniently located next to one of the famous waterfalls and a very windy bridge (i forgot the names). The chicken right outside the hotel is very good. Everything was good except for the towels and the bed sheet condition - not so clean with some stains on the towels. Im sure they were washed but had some dirts from perhaps drying. The hotel and the room were spacious and seemed to have been built recently. It has limited housekeeping. We paid extra for our third kid. We had to ask for extra towels and water bottles. The front staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating to my requests and questions. Even the lady with no English helped me order pizza using her translating app. I think they get many Korean customers, not so many foreigners.

Technically "non-smoking" (but still smelly)

There were two negatives about this place: First, and the reason we ended up switching hotels, was that the room we were given had a persistent odor of cigarette smoke. I have pretty severe allergies and this property was listed as non-smoking, so that was frustrating. The second barrier was that the front desk staffer did not speak any English and we had to use a translator app to communicate. I explained the issue and she said that it is a non-smoking hotel but "some of the rooms smell like smoke". She said she would look for smoke free rooms and call me (how?). We went out for dinner and came back to check in with her as she had not called. She said there were no free rooms. Near check-in was a small sign stating that smoking is allowed on the balconies of the rooms - most if not all rooms, including ours, had a balcony - and that guests shouldn't close the sliding door behind them because it will lock automatically. So, of course, guests go onto the balcony to smoke, but can't close the door behind them so the smoke... goes into the room! While they're technically not smoking IN the rooms, it's no wonder that the odor was so noticeable. We ended up staying the night in the hopes that the smell would become less noticeable but alas it didn't fade and I woke up feeling crappy. We switched hotels the next day but they wouldn't refund me for the remainder of the nights we booked (Hotels.com gave me a partial credit, THANK YOU!)

Comfortable and near the waterfalls

The Cheonjiyeon waterfall is a short walking distance. Many seafood restaurants around the location Breakfast is only bread/cornflakes /coffee which is good enough for the price they charge. Overall a good location, clean and comfortable place

The location is top-notch. Some of Jeju's must-sees are just around the corner. From the balcony, you look at a nice harbor, the sea, and Hallasan. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms too. (But why can't they provide any bigger towels than the traditional Korean-sized XS towels?) Anyway, the owner is super-helpful and speaks English.
