La propiedad tiene dos casas y un gran jardín y tiene capacidad para 10 personas. Puede haber 4-6 en la casa principal y 4 en la casa de huéspedes (el precio adicional para la casa de huéspedes es de $ 80 por noche). Hay un gran patio con jacuzzi, muebles de jardín y una pequeña barbacoa.
CASA PRINCIPAL (MAX 4-6 personas):
La casa principal es de 55 m2, con capacidad para 4-6 personas. Está bien equipado, hay como un televisor de 42 "en la sala de estar y hay una buena cocina abierta y completamente amueblada con nevera, congelador, lavaplatos y cocina pequeña, horno pequeño para hornear y microondas en la lavandería. Un baño con ducha y secador de pelo está en la casa principal.
Las habitaciones en la casa principal son para 4 personas:
-Primer dormitorio con cama king size 180cm y un armario.
- Segundo dormitorio con una cama de 120 cm y una litera de 70 cm sobre ella, más un armario.

Hay una sala de lavandería con lavadora.
Las sábanas, la ropa de cama y las toallas están incluidas en el precio, así como el jabón y el líquido de lavado para la lavadora.

La casa de huéspedes es de 25 m2 y puede alojar hasta 4 personas. Está separado de la casa principal. Tiene una pequeña sala de estar con una cama de 140 cm y un dormitorio con una cama de 140 cm y un aseo con ducha, pero sin ducha.

FUERA DE:
La joya de la casa es el jacuzzi, que te espera cada tarde cuando vuelves de explorar. Allí podrá relajarse, observar la aurora boreal, las estrellas o el sol de medianoche. El jacuzzi se encuentra en el gran patio donde también hay muebles de jardín.
UBICACIÓN:
La casa está ubicada en el Círculo Dorado, y lugares de interés como el parque nacional islandés ,ingvellir, la cascada Gullfoss, el área geotérmica Geysir y el cráter Kerið, se encuentran a una hora en coche de la casa. La ubicación es una base perfecta para realizar excursiones de un día para explorar la parte sur de Islandia, así como la parte occidental o las tierras altas en verano.
Hay una piscina con jacuzzis (Minni borg) ubicada a 5 minutos en coche de la casa.
La casa se encuentra a aproximadamente 55 minutos (75 km) en automóvil de la capital, Reikiavik, y solo hay 15-20 minutos en automóvil hasta el siguiente pueblo, Selfoss, y aproximadamente a 90 minutos en automóvil del aeropuerto internacional de Keflavik.
A menos de 10 minutos en automóvil de la casa está la Ruta 1, la carretera que rodea a Islandia. En esa carretera puede aventurarse más al sur a lo largo de la costa sur para ver lugares como Reynisdrangar, Reynisfjara o visitar el pueblo de Vík. El ferry a las islas Westmann desde Landeyjarhöfn está a aproximadamente una hora en coche. Perfect Base station

My family of 5 used this as our base camp while we explored the southern portion of the island. This house is secluded yet close to attractions and town! The house is well stocked for anything you can think of!This place is perfect for anyone that doesn't want to rent a camper and drive the entire ring road. Selfoss is a 20 minute drive and the hot tub was absolutely perfect after a day of hiking and exploring!

Comfortable stay

Loved staying here. We only had one unplanned surprise. We may have missed this in the listing but the instructions ask you to take all your trash with you. We drove hours with our son holding a full bag of trash until we found a place to dispose of it. We actually named our bag since he travelled with us for so long. Other than our bag of trash, it was a nice stay.

Großartiges Haus, allerdings für 10 pers. zu klein

Es war sauber, gemütlich und das Bett war sehr bequem. Für 10 Personen wäre nur eine Dusche und der Esstisch etwas klein. Wir waren zu 5 und es war sehr schön. Es gibt einen schönen warmen Whrilpool und sogar einen Grill (den wir nicht benutzt haben)

A Goldilocks Visit

Everything was just perfect about our stay! Our host was very accessible prior to, during, and after our stay. She offered helpful tourism information from weather to sights to proper gear to bring for the season. The property itself was cozy while still offering a fun, spacious loft for my 10-year old to sleep in and a detached guesthouse (with a second toilet) for my teenagers who preferred more privacy. The setting was close to all the major tourist sites but far enough out into the countryside that we had the necessary darkness to view the northern lights (twice!) during our stay. The hot tub was an additional bonus after a busy day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect week in Iceland

Being our first time in Iceland, we didn't know what to expect. Everything was perfect from the weather to the cottage. The cottage was exactly how it was described. We never needed to contact the owner.since clear instructions were left. Check in and out was easy. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of site seeing. We can't wait to return.

So perfect

My husband and I stayed for about a week here and we had the best time. The house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, just as pictured. It was the perfect location for visiting the golden circle and south Iceland. We had a bad storm one night and the host reached out beforehand to let us know that the roads would be dangerous. Fantastic location, cozy house

We loved our stay here! The location was great for seeing the Golden Circle, and was less than an hour from Reykjavik. The house was clean and tidy, and have a hot tub was nice after a lot of hiking. Absolutely no issues with the property and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Iceland!

Fantastic place for celebrating a special birthday with my family!

We loved our week in Iceland. The cottage was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Being remote it was a brilliant place to see the Northern lights which was fantastic from the hot tub! Lots of exciting places to visit within 2hrs driving. Selfoss good for supermarket shopping only 20 mins away. The only improvement to the property would be for hot water and shower in the guest lodge, there were 7 adults in our party so there was often a queue for the shower. However, the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was really well equipped with a nice big fridge and dishwasher. Having all the essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, soap, cleaning products, tea, coffee, salt pepper etc made it even better. Brynhidur was always quick at answering our questions and even left us birthday chocolates. A great place to stay -thank you so much!

A gem!

We loved this little cottage; it was perfect for the three of us! The living area was bright and warm, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the showerhead felt like a massage. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials & my husband was able to use the gas grill without issue a few times. We appreciated the washing machine and drying rack – that saved us miles on the rental car and time out of our day(s) trying to find a laundromat. We never got around to using the hot tub, so I cannot comment on that, but the community the cottage is in was so peaceful and quiet – no cars or trucks rumbling by or other noise distractions. We heard nothing but the birds and the breeze in the trees. We were very close to many of the highlights on the Ring Road – from Kerið Crater four miles away all the way out to the black sand beach in Vik, which was two hours away. We were able to see everything listed in “What’s Nearby” and much more. Brynhildur is a terrific host, answering our questions without delay. She has a gem in this cottage, and I would love the opportunity to rent again when we return to Iceland!

Perfect location

These cottages were perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of space, well appointed kitchen with all the amenities, great shower, and the washer made packing so much easier since we could wash clothes and bring less. Location was perfect for day trips all around the Golden Circle. We are still amazed at all we got to see and do. Brynhildur and Hermann were lovely host with excellent communication and great attention to our needs.

Wonderful cabin with great amenities!

We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is very private and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and the coffee Nespresso pods were very much appreciated! We forgot our travel tempur-pedic topper, but we ended up not needing it because the beds were so comfortable. Be careful in the shower, I hit the handle while washing my hair and was surprised with cold water. I changed my position after that to prevent that from happening again. :) It was great to have a washer in the unit and handy to have the drying rack. Overall, we had enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again in then future! Thanks for everything!

Fantastic Stay in Iceland

Brynhildur was a great host and kept us informed along the way. Really loved the small gestures of home baked cookies and wine which made us feel very welcome! Cottage was very well equipped and strategically located for accessing all the golden circle attractions. Would really recommend. Had a lovely stay!
