The house is extremely spacious and the majority of the living space is located on the first floor, which I really like. The kitchen is huge and opens up into the living room. However, there were some cons. First, the home is minimally furnished with hardly any rugs so the acoustics were SO loud throughout the house. Second, there are no so called “extras”—no beach chairs, towels, toys, bikes. There were also no extra supplies of basics in the house— we had to go out and buy toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, coffee filters. These things are not always provided by rentals, but it was very bare bones and inconvenient which I would have liked to know beforehand. Also, all the dishes and cups were glass and crystal with no plastic or outdoor options making it difficult with kids. I got the feeling that the home is more of a rental for an adults getaway rather than a family vacation. Lastly, the amenities pass to use the pools was astronomically expensive in my mind and they are just far enough away from the property where you hav to drive to them and not walk.
