My family and I loved our first night in Sri Lanka here. Our host was fantastic, we had the good fortune to enjoy a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch which set the bar very high! It was delicious. Our host also kindly arranged a taxi for us to our next destination. Rooms were beautiful and clean, beds were comfortable.

Clean, Easy, Helpful, and Convenient

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and even though we had to be picked up from the airport at almost 2am the driver was there waiting with a sign. He was easy to find and had a cool car ready for us. The owner also arranged for us to hire the same driver, since we already liked him, for our next day transport down to Galle. He was a great driver, got us there quickly, and knew a lot about the different trees, plants, and buildings that he shared with us on the trip. Would definitely rent again!

雰囲気のある邸宅ホテル

元は植民地時代の外国人邸宅だったらしく、客室は8部屋と小規模。周辺は住宅地で夜は真っ暗、人影もネオンも街灯さえもない。トゥクトゥクでこのホテルに向かった時は「本当にこんなところにホテルなんかあるの⁇ もしかして、見知らぬところに連れて行かれて、運転手に身ぐるみ剥がされるんじゃあ⁈」と冷や汗が出たほど。 が、チェックインしてみると、異国情緒溢れるコロニアル建築や、趣味の良いアンティーク風のインテリアなどが心地よく、落ち着いて快適に過ごせた。 設備は近代建築の大型ホテルには及ばず、シャワーの水が止まりにくい、階段しかない、などのマイナス面もあったが、確か2階か3階までしかなかったので、大きな問題ではない。 なかなか良い滞在ができたと満足している。
