This is a quiet and pleasant location to stay. It is well equipped with easy check-in/check-out process. The AC does tend to freeze up if you drop it below 74 degrees but there are plenty of fans throughout which make it very comfortable even for someone like me that likes the AC blasting ice cold.

Nice small and unique cottage for two. Karla, the hostess is very accommodating. We enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast on patio and afternoons in the pool. The house is conveniently situated10 miles from Savannah and 10 miles in the opposite direction to the Atlantic.

Positives Parking with easy Kitchen had appropriate utensils Bed was comfortableNegatives Pool was uninviting, cloudy and leafy yuck Internet was intermittent and unreliable for TV Owners dog loose at night without notice to me If you walk barefoot in the house your feet will be dirty from floors Whie outside you have to listen to music from the house in front. What you see in the photos is what you get definitely no frills. The place needs an overhaul for sure update. There are cameras watching you outside so you have no privacy at all.

Lovely Oasis

You can really tell someone cared! The cutest little bungalow. Super clean and cozy to just hangout in. Our visit was during winter so we weren’t able to utilize the outdoor pool and patio but I can see how that would fun! You couldn’t ask for friendlier people and an all around comfortable atmosphere in a backyard oasis that anyone would enjoy. Would absolutely visit again !

Temporary home

I rented this property for my daughter, who was in the process of moving to Savannah, only to find out on the drive from Wisconsin, that her apartment would not be ready as scheduled. After a week in a hotel. We needed to find something to give her a little more space and amenities. The property was perfect for her situation, and owners were extremely easy to communicate with

Wilmington Island retreat

Owners were good at response to our questions. Nicely updated furniture. They note that they are continuing on working on upgrading systems. It took longer than we had thought to get there from our daughter's apt., we should have anticipated that. Yard is set up nicely, although time of year of our visit, we did not use at all.

Cozy Bungalow on Wilmington Island, just outside Savannah

I came to Wilmington Island to visit a friend who had a condo only 2 miles away. Karla and Todd took a little Crab Shack and turned it into the most adorable little bungalow. They should get the Pulitzer Price for taking only 420’ of space and providing absolutely everything you could ask for. It wasn’t wanting for anything. It was decorated in the cutest most whimsical way. The whole scene with the outdoor lights and the yard with sweet little ornaments reminded me of a scene out of Candyland. The location couldn’t be beat, and is within walking distance of Publix, and many other shops and stores. Karla was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. If you’re a couple, or a couple with a child, or two girlfriends looking for a place just outside of downtown Savannah (about a 15 minute drive), look no further. PS. And my bochon frise, Coco just loved it!

All Around Amazing!

My husband and I stayed here for a short trip for our anniversary. Everything about our experience was phenomenal! The location is perfect since it’s right in the middle of Savannah and Tybee Island. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. The place itself is decorated so adorably! Karla and her husband really paid attention to every detail when renovating and decorating. They really wanted this to be a great place for guests to stay. Some of our favorite features were the ultra soft sheets on the bed and the built in Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling that prompted more than one dance party! I cannot rave enough about this place. It has everything you need, and Karla is amazing! Communication was a breeze. We got rained out of some of the activities we had the day we were supposed to check in, and I messaged Karla that afternoon about checking in early. She went out of her way to make sure it was ready for us to check in at 2:30 instead of 4. The bungalow was super clean, and they spray something special 4 hours before guests arrive too to ensure that it’s clean between guests due to COVID. Plus the money from stays goes towards an amazing cause. If you’re wanting a cozy place close to all the amenities this area has to offer, then this bungalow is the perfect place for you!
