Good dog friendly location with pool/just a couple cons

Pros: Good historical house in a great location. With the house being dog friendly, the park for walks is just 4 blocks away. Enclosed backyard/Great for us, and great for the dog. Walking distance to all of historic Savannah, but on the outer edge. Away from the crowds, but within 1.5 miles of everything. Off street parking for small cars, and a pool. The pictures represent the house accurately except for the primary bedroom. Responsive rental companyCons: The A/C: It's a historic house with high ceilings. During the evenings in the summer, the inside gets up to 79 degrees, and you are unable to control the A/C. The owner keeps the A/C locked to his acceptable temperature. We are from Louisiana and are used to the heat, but my wife does get hot flashes and does like to cool down on occasion. It usually started to cool down around 11pm. We contacted the rental company several times during our stay, and they were very responsive, but could not control the A/C. During cooler weather, or if you stay out later in the evening, or if your ok with it being a little warm in the afternoon or evening, then it should be fine. We eventually just kept all the bedroom doors closed at all times, and it was a little better. Also, the primary bed room looks like they have been performing some renovations. There is no headboard on the bed, and there was no place to put your luggage.

A Great Girls’ Getaway

We loved the house! From the ease of checkin, to the comfort of the furniture, to the screened-in porch…this house had everything we needed. It was conveniently located to Forsyth Park and its great Saturday Farmer’s Market. And nothing soothes those tired feet after a day of walking, shopping, and sightseeing like a good soak in the pool! We thoroughly enjoyed this location.

The property mgt company never called me back after two calls on needing air adjusted that was being controlled remotely. Air was not adjusted as requested.

Amazing stay in beautiful Savannah!

We loved our stay and time in Savannah! This house is beautiful and was perfect for the 4 of us, including our two teens. We were able to walk everywhere, which is great for sightseeing and taking in the rich food and culture scene. Everyone there is soooo nice and it takes you back to true hospitality and Americana charm. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint, and time on the front porch swing is a must. Highly recommend!

Everything you need!

This is a beautiful home in a great location. There was not one thing that we needed that we did not have. With the pool, the porches, the nearby square, there just isn’t much need to venture out. Such a restful stay! We loved it and look forward to going back!

SCAD Parents Weekend 2024

The house we wonderrful and in a get location with a shoet and beautiful walk to Forsyth Park! So close to anything and a really cozy and quaint home. The stained glass touches are wow! Also Candice from Lucky Savannah was so sweet and helpful with a WiFi connection issue. We look forward to return!

Amazing Home

We had the privilege of staying in this amazing home at 412 E Gaston St, Savannah. The house had everything we needed to feel right at home. Only a few short blocks from Bull Street and Forsyth Park, we could walk to wonderful restaurants and shops in only a few minutes. We would definitely stay in this house again on our next trip to Savannah. Amazing and outstanding.

Great location and home

The property was as pictured and the description of the home are true as written. The home was even better than expected. Although we didn't cook while we were there, we noticed that the kitchen was equipped appropriately. The house was very clean, the furniture was comfortable, it was walkable to many restaurants and bars, and it felt homey. We would not hesitate to book this house again for our next visit.
