this home was a beautiful 1800 Victorian we had a great sister’s weekend. My sister absolutely loved everything about it. Perfect location, quiet very enjoyable.

Easy check in and communication with the host. Apartment is on second and third floor. The place was clean and well appointed. Plenty of street parking. Authentic old Savannah house with character. Walking distance to parks was reasonable. Of slight concern was the multiple standalone portable ac units attached via extension cords in various rooms around the apartment

A window fell into the room, the TV kept cutting out, not a single interior door actually closed, the deck was not safe.

Communication with the host was great and the location was ideal. Walkable to most of the places we wanted to see, with a grocery store right around the corner and free on-street parking. The kitchen was great and well-equiped, as was the laundry area.The house is old - and that's notable throughout the two floors. The portable air conditioning units were not a surprise because of another review, but the cords for them were unsightly. We ended up turning the one off because it made the main floor so cold, however the loft got stuffy without the fan and air-conditioning unit running. There was no patio furniture on the back deck, which was disappointing, though the deck structure felt a little precarious, so maybe for the best. Our family ended up using only the shower in the loft as the bath tub on the main floor was small and tight quarters when the curtains were drawn. While overall the place was clean, there were some stains on the furnishings and blankets, there were broken metal blinds on some of the windows, and floor trim had been ripped up and placed behind the sink in the loft. Overall, the place was good for what we needed, but the pictures offer a different view than reality.

This property could use some maintenance to make it great. Carpets were heavily stained, pieces of the tile floor were undone and placed under the bathroom sink, bathroom door handle broke off the first day and the outside area has been neglected. On a positive note, two of the three bedrooms were very spacious and the a/c units kept the home cool even with high humidity.
