We loved our stay at the Douglas House! Property was very clean with all the amenities that you need. Great that it had a parking space for our rental car. House is located in a great location for walking to many things, especially the trolley and River Street.Property management team was very responsive, we had one minor issue and they resolved it for us while we were out.Hotel 17Hundred90 is right across the street, great for a nightcap.The one negative has nothing to do with the house or host but there is constructionacross the street which wakes you at 7:00 am.Would recommend and stay again!

Excellent location as it is close to shops, restaurants, sights but also just off the main area enough to be quiet. Very clean. Easy check in and out and access. Narrow staircase up to the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but something to be aware of if you’re bringing large suitcases. We did not use the pool, so cannot comment on that amenity. Kitchen is small but has everything needed. Overall a great place to stay.

The host had the best info we have ever received. They provided links to short you tube videos that described access into the home, parking, usage of the washer dryer, and thermometer. It was really appreciated since our arrival was after dark and we knew exactly what to expect.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in great location that was a couple minutes walk to downtown attractions, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and the river!! The house was clean, kitchen was big enough to move around and had everything we needed for our stay. The host kindly left a charming basket of snacks and a couple bottles of water which came pretty handy for us:) We will definitely go back again.

Check in was a breeze. The code was provided in multiple emails before our arrival. The code worked for the front or back door which was convenient for us seeing as we had a car we rented. The car was able to be parked right in the driveway. Kitchen was extremely clean and cozy. A basket of snacks and small water were left on the counter upon entry with a sweet, welcoming note.

This stay was absolutely amazing. The location of the home is in fantastic walking distance to wherever you need to go in old town Savannah. The beds were comfy and the entire home was so clean. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Super charming and cute! There are nightly ghost tours that walk by the house but it makes it fun! Loved everything about this place. If we ever visit Savanah again, well for sure come back here!

Douglass House

Well appointed home in a great location. Once we parked we didn't move the vehicle again until we left. We could walk or Uber anywhere easily. Savannah was beautiful this time of year. Easy check in and out.

No Fresh Air Beware

My only complaints are way to many knick nacks and furniture that makes it a bit cluttered. Especially plastic plants galore. The part that got me the most was no fresh air or open windows. Out of close to 40 windows or 20 at least, only 3 opened. Thats right 3 and they were all downstairs. No upstairs windows working. I travel almost 250 days a year. All I ask for is a little light and fresh air.

Felt like we were home!

This is a wonderful townhome in the best spot you can ask for. One block off the downtown area so that it’s easily accessible but not nosy when it’s busy. The house was clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the house in general a cozy stay. We love Savannah and have stayed at several houses. Wish we’d have found this one sooner!

Best stay in Savannah

The location and house cannot be beat. The house is GORGEOUS!! If Savannah didn’t have so much to do, I would be happy hanging out in the house. But it is in such a great area. We walked to the Johnny Mercer Theater and River Street, enjoyed shopping on Broughton Street and a delicious dinner at The Grey. It was a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous location and area

Excellent rental! It is tastefully renovated with a wonderful kitchen and bathrooms! Owners have thought of everything necessary for comfort including the beds and linens. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to all the fun and shopping and food. Right next to the Owen's house too which is a great tour! Don’t miss the quaint pub right across the street.
