Our family loved our three nights at Douglass House! We were so impressed by the beauty and comfort of this home! Cutest house, perfect location, SUPER CLEAN

This stay was absolutely amazing. The location of the home is in fantastic walking distance to wherever you need to go in old town Savannah. The beds were comfy and the entire home was so clean. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Super charming and cute! There are nightly ghost tours that walk by the house but it makes it fun! Loved everything about this place. If we ever visit Savanah again, well for sure come back here!

Loved the house! The location is close to the riverfront, shops, restaurants, squares etc. They thought of everything. House is beautifully appointed inside. Southern Belle Rentals were great work with and would rent from them again!

Douglass House

Well appointed home in a great location. Once we parked we didn't move the vehicle again until we left. We could walk or Uber anywhere easily. Savannah was beautiful this time of year. Easy check in and out.

No Fresh Air Beware

My only complaints are way to many knick nacks and furniture that makes it a bit cluttered. Especially plastic plants galore. The part that got me the most was no fresh air or open windows. Out of close to 40 windows or 20 at least, only 3 opened. Thats right 3 and they were all downstairs. No upstairs windows working. I travel almost 250 days a year. All I ask for is a little light and fresh air.

Felt like we were home!

This is a wonderful townhome in the best spot you can ask for. One block off the downtown area so that it’s easily accessible but not nosy when it’s busy. The house was clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the house in general a cozy stay. We love Savannah and have stayed at several houses. Wish we’d have found this one sooner!

Stylish Savannah Stay

Had a wonderful stay! This home is beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location. The parking spot in the back is a game changer. Lots of great natural light. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and feature good amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location

This location is so good. We rented a car but didn’t even need it. We were in walking distance to everything. The hosts were super responsive and made the stay a breeze. Highly recommend.

Best stay in Savannah

The location and house cannot be beat. The house is GORGEOUS!! If Savannah didn’t have so much to do, I would be happy hanging out in the house. But it is in such a great area. We walked to the Johnny Mercer Theater and River Street, enjoyed shopping on Broughton Street and a delicious dinner at The Grey. It was a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous location and area

Excellent rental! It is tastefully renovated with a wonderful kitchen and bathrooms! Owners have thought of everything necessary for comfort including the beds and linens. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to all the fun and shopping and food. Right next to the Owen's house too which is a great tour! Don’t miss the quaint pub right across the street.

St. Patty’s Day in Savannah

I can not say enough good things about this home! From it’s cleanliness, beautiful decor, awesome amenities to it’s Perfect location, I highly recommend & would definitely stay here again. We had a blast and were only 1 block from the parade route. There is only one parking space, which was not a problem for us, as we didn’t need to drive anywhere until the day we checked out. The host was Super responsive to any question & provided such great details on the home/location prior to our arrival. Five stars all the way!

Do not hesitate to book this exquisite property! It is an amazing historic house in a prime location! Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house is amazing and it is so nice to have a private parking spot! We loved being able to hear the horse drawn carriages go down our street! We will definitely return!

Girls trip

Working with the management company was amazing. They checked in on me making sure everything was in order. This house was very clean. Supplied all you needed for a weekend. The location was AMAZING. Walked to everything. All us ladies would 100 percent stay here again.

Beautiful historic home

This home is beautiful, and the location was perfect. It was very clean, and the decor and furnishings were well designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable! But be warned that it can be noisy outside in the evenings and the sound carries as if folks are sitting inside the home. We could hear detailed conversations just outside the windows and the sound travels up into the bedrooms, hence supplying sound machines in each room. The only criticism I would offer is that for what I paid, I would have expected higher quality hand soap and dish detergent for our use. It’s a small detail, but it is noticed. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely time in Savannah

My family and I come every year and we always enjoy ourselves. We loved the inside of this house. They had almost everything you could possibly need, even fans and sound machines. Those are a must for our children! I do wish they had maybe a couple boxes of tissues laying around. Also at checkout they ask for you to start the dishwasher and washing machine- but yet give you no dishwasher soap or laundry detergent. Overall this place was one of the nicest we have stayed at. The beds were very very comfortable, it was very clean and the decor was very nice. The location was okay, the ghost tours and others come by several times and they can be pretty loud.
