Unfortunately there was a hockey game on this evening and when we arrived back from dinner all parking spaces provided for guests were occupied by people attending the hockey game and they were not staying at the quality inn so we had to wait until someone left the hotel and take that parking space. I brought it to the front desk and she indicated that this happens which did not make me happy.

We stayed 2 nights the parking lot is an inconvenience to try and get into. Its not the safest neighborhood but convient to the mall. The rooms are very dated and smelled musty there was ants in the bathroom the carpets are jn a much need of a deep deep cleaning. Pillows were comfortable matress was hard and the chair in our room had one too many stains we used a towel on it to sit. But the staf was great and very friendly. The shower stall though didnt really have a place to put our own shampoo and such just kept sliding off. Mirrors were very clean though.

The system changed the dates when i wh\ent to book the room. i showed up later that night to find out it was for the next friday. the staff told me i couldn't cancel it through them. they had no rooms. I then contacted Hotels.ca and they told me that they had to contact the hotel and ask them to cancel it. I was driving to Vancouver an this hotel did not respond to them as I keep getting emails from them stating this. They had 6 days to rebook the room and did nothing.

Girl at front desk was SO kid friendly, pool was closed or maintenance but she knew how to sweet talk my kid to soften the blow. Drove 7 hours and booked last minute, we usually stay here when in town if rooms are available as staff is always pleasant and the breakfast always has LOTS of options in the mornings. Waffles, omelets, hasbrowns, meats, cereals, yogurts etc. Free parking, two elevators so limited wait to get to the top floor if you’re staying up there and nice views of the city from all sides in the hallways. Family friendly, large rooms and comfy pillows.
