Have stayed in a couple of Sotetsu Fresa Inn's in Japan so knew what to expect. This was no different, friendly and helpful staff at check-in and a very clean and comfortable room, the bed especially so (which also had a soft pillow!). An easy 20 minute walk from Sapporo station.

Location is good, there is a train station right in front. Walking distance to nearby eateries or shops. Room is small but i guess it is typical for Japan.

This stay compared to our 1st a few days earlier was much more welcoming. The man that checked us in this time was far more obliging and helpful. Received the room we requested with a good view. The room is a good size with adequate space to move freely and feel comfortable in our home away from home Everything worked well, beds very comfortable as were the pillows. We really enjoyed our stay this time and look forward to our next visit in anticipation that it will be the same. Excellent value hotel with location, location! Would recommend.

Great location.good size room. Very comfortable beds and pillows.air con simple to operate. Lights in room - technology confusing. Good choice of incidentals such as coffee and tea. Only dislike was welcome by reception - they could see we were very tired ,room was available but they insisted in extorting more money for a hour or two early check in despite knowing that we had another 4 nights booked a few days later. This did nothing to make us feel welcome.

While the hotel was overall very clean, modern, and convenient, we were very upset when they took out our laundry (extremely damp), for others to use the machine. They only have 3 machines that are constantly taken. This is okay; however, they took out my laundry when it was still extremely damp, pretty much still wet. I would understand if it was sitting there for a while, but I went to grab my laundry within 5 minutes of completion. I went to grab it from my the lobby and they had all my underwear (panties and bras) and other clothes over piling a small basket and told me to bring the basket back. They weren’t friendly and they were short when giving it to me. The lobby was busy so everyone could see all my clothes. We were leaving the next day, so we had to dry all of our clothes in the room hanging somehow (we weren’t sure if it was gonna dry in time because they were so wet). Because of this, we had to wake early to pack.

A great stay! Our room was very good for our needs, plenty of charging and power points for our devices, there is Netflix, food at the buffet was very tasty and substantial. The place is clean, organised and very walkable to most of the events during the Snow Festival. It is also handy to the airport bus so all in all a great place to base ourselves in Sapporo. They even gave us fresh towels each day when we opted for no cleaning service. On the last night we didn't use all of the towels to save water. Thank you so much to the staff of Sotetsu Fresa Inn, well done to all of you!

We arrived at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn and had lost our bag with cash and our passports in it. The staff were super helpful in locating the bag for us and keeping us up to date with their efforts. A huge thank you to the team for locating it. The location of the hotel is ideal for access to shopping and many dining options.
