Our room was beautiful, especially the private hot spring. The entire place was very relaxing. Our first night dinner, which included the beef, was excellent. Second night was a different menu including pork and was lackluster. That was our only complaint.
Will come back again.
Getting to the hotel: Hotel has a carpark for those renting cars but there is a shuttle bus service provided by the hotel from Sapporo JR Station.
Room for 2 Pax was clean, spacious, serene.
Service was great, Breakfast and Dinner was especially enjoyable with the view from the lounge.
Room was very clean. Bath in room was excellent. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay there again. Beverage machines on the floor did not have much which was disappointing. Free shuttle bus was a plus too.
We were sad when we have to check out of a marvelous hotel like this - room, onsen, food, service, view were all spectacular! We shall return next year to see the autumn leaves once again!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Everything was wonderful! The staff, food, amenities, and most of all the room was top tier. We will be coming back again.
It was a great experience for my first time at a ryokan/onsen. Staff and service was first class. In room onsen is such an awesome thing to have. I enjoyed having access to a mist and dry sauna. The open air onsen was awesome to experience. Full body oil massage was also great. This was a great relaxation getaway in a small town. If I get the opportunity, I would come here again.
Overall great experience. The only thing that needs to improve is the check in. English was very difficult with the staff. Communication was somewhat tricky and the shuttle service is questionable. I had to request a taxi on my return trip. I used Uber to get around the small town. Relaxing hotel, and loved the private onsen!
Our getaway in Jozenkei, Hokkaido was such a memorable escape. We stayed at the stunning Grand Blissen Onsen Hotel and everything was just perfect—from the serene onsen views to the warm hospitality. The dinner degustation to breakfast selection was amazing.
Stayed with my teenage son and my 75 yr old mom with the private onsen room as I have tattoos . It was the most luxurious experience ever ! So beautiful , from the entrance to the room to the dining experience . Spent two nights ! Massage was wonderful I did body scrub one night and relaxation second night . Walkable to near by shops . Across the street there is a small restaurant Francais it was sooooo good , stop by for lunch . Vintage seating maybe not ideal for tall folks .must try the dessert toast omg that was amazing . Walking distant to small park with public free foot onsen , a family mart and a souvenir shop plus nice picturesque opportunities , will definitely come again .we came in April 14-16 there was still snow cap mountains , one night of rain and second night was lovely . We saw a deer run past us in the park and it made the nature walk a tad more special ! Hotel has great souvenirs too ! They arranged taxi service to airport for 6,000 yen flat rate . It would have been well over 10,000 if we didn’t use hotel to arrange . In translation that’s $60 vs $100 for a 25 min ride .
