We had a great stay at El Mosquito in Santo Domingo. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. The hotel is atmospheric with lots of plants and Caribbean vibe. Break fast was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Cuando realise la reserva no me di cuenta que no tiene parqueo ,llegue mi primera vez a la parte historica de santo domingo ,estaba estresado por no conseguir parqueo ,finalmente me estacione y fue a preguntar en front desk donde podia estacionarme,me atendió una chica sin ganas con un tono de desden como si me estuviera haciendo un favor cuando yo eleji gastar mi dinero en este hotel habiendo mas posibilidades, me dijo de forma desganada hay dos paqueo que tienes que pagar uno cercs de aqui el otro a dos cuadras de aqui ,no le dio un mapa no me explico ,no me dio la bienvenida tan siquiera con agua ,el lobby y areas comunes muy pero muy calientes pues no estan climatisadas ,so no es un hotel que te da buena bienvenida,solo cuando le peegunte si estsba enojada ,cambio su aptitud ,la habitación estaba caliente porque esperan hasta que el cliente lleguepara darte la habitación como un horno ,extremadamente chica ,estariamos solo una noche partiriamos temprano para el aeropuerto, por poco nos caemos no luz en todo el lobby nadie absolutamente nadie que nos dijera como hacer elncheck out ,please les estoy diciendo mi verdad ,jamas volveria me senti maltratado y mal recibido ,mi esposa y yo celebrasmosnuestro 9 aniversario, lamentamos haber escojido este hotel.

Very nice stay! The hotel is just way too cute, if you like small coquette boutique properties. Their bar is cozy and intimate too. Location is perfect, walkable to where you want to be. Definitely going back.
